Its good for Your partner thou ;)
A single Emperor Cobra against three Snakes. What is preferable?
Basically with this expansion, Eater of Secrets will become a staple in most decks
I already use it most of my decks because Ice Block is really really annoying , especially when you can get more 2 these days .
So hopefully we'll get a trap that summons an epic minion too ;D
All of them are beasts, cost 3 mana and are in standard packs or beginers package.
Maybe we will see some wierd version of Silverback Patriarch or King Mukla in form of a secret.
Face Trap:
Secret: When an enemy Taunt minion dies, summon a Vicious Fledgling.
Secret Value!!! Uhm... welll it isn't a secret any more, since you told us... but these secrets still have value!
Yeah. This could actually make Professor Putricide survive, as your opponent might prefer to remove the snake.
That card art is quite old. I bet the designers saw this art first and then made a card to fit in with the art, rather than made the card first and then searched for the art.
I'd rather my opponent be frozen rather than venomstriked if they were trapped
This is good as a counterpart to Snake Trap, now when your opponent checks for all traps he will have to guess between Snake Trap and this.
Might be me, but isn't 2/3 poisonous for 2 with a really easy to do condition, a bit busted?
Depends on how well your opponent plays around it. They could quite easily just activate it and kill it with a spell or minion, or play around it, when they need to, the same as Bear Trap and Cat Trick.
I don't think so. It probably won't even be out by turn 3 if you spend turn 2 developing the secret, depending on whether you go first or second and whether you have a 1 drop, making it more susceptible to removal. Not to mention that early in the game, poisonous is less valuable than later, but later it's easier to activate and deal with it the same turn. But overall, hunter secrets are 2 mana + condition = summon 3 drop, which has turned out to be decent but nothing gamebreaking.
I don't know if this is relevant, but if the meta is very deathrattle-centric, poison is also implicitly less valuable.
