The supergreed Druid is coming together.
For everyone asking about minions getting Taunt after they're summoned to the board, you will only get this effect to work with cards that come with Taunt by default. It WILL NOT bring back minions that are given Taunt by other cards, I repeat, it WILL NOT bring back minions that are given Taunt by other cards.
Did you now that writing in big letters makes people notice your text more, so they can give you upvotes?
I think you already knew that.
Nice accusation though, Hoss.
TWO N'zoths Kappa?
I think this card has a crazy effect, However I don't think it will make it into to druid constructed based on what has been released so far, (so we'll have to wait and see what other druid cards come out for this expansion) The reason I think this card MAY not see any play is because of it being a deathrattle, granted the deathrattle is a crazy effect that: summons all taunt minions that died this game, but what player would want to kill Hadronox it's 3/7 statline isn't threntening enough to be worth using removal. also some classes have transform removal which destroys this card. which if you want this card to work you need to combine it with certain cards to make it playable.
You could wait on turn 10 and use Naturalize to get the deathratte effect. You could wait two turns or innervate out a Defender of Argus or a Sunfury Protector to give this minion taunt. You could Spiritsinger Umbra first and then play this card (assuming she lives next turn)
So what I'm getting at here is that You are going to need a two turn effect to utilize the deathrattle which Could make this card to slow. So I think it's playable at best as of right now
I think I have to go make N'Zoth Druid now.
That's correct. Unless it has Taunt as a base effect, it won't be re-summoned. That's why N'Zoth doesn't bring back Unearthed Raptor. No base Deathrattle effect.
So, it is a 10 mana 3/7 minion which reads:
''Deathrattle: Summon your taunt minions that died this game. Your opponent draws 2 cards.''
Your opponent draws 2 silence or board clear cards *
I am not so sure. Ancestral Spirit doesn't cause a minion to be resummoned by N'Zoth.
It won't work because C'Thun doesn't have Taunt in his text. And even if it did, you'd just get a 6/6.
Correct me if I'm wrong but in the cases of Ancestral Spirit and Ancient of War, the effect is attached while it is on the board rather than while it is dead. In the case of C'Thun, since the ritual buffs are attached to the board so it would be resummoned. Just my thoughts.
You're definitely wrong about 6/6, he'll be whatever power/toughness he's supposed to and the taunt may also be incorrect since it's added to his text with geomancer.
I think it's to early to say w cthun. Gained deathrattles did Not Work W Nzoth, But Most Cards Are In Their Natural State When Not In Play... Cthun Has A Special Property Of Retaining Effects While Not In Play.
Ritual buff is a quite different mechanism, you shouldn't compare it with other cards and effects. We can use KJ & Violet Teacher & Ambusher & Mark of the Wild to give any minion taunt in your hand, so C'thun is nothing special in this way.
It's certainly a maybe. Generally speaking, it wouldn't work (being given taunt won't turn a creature into a taunt minion), but the C'Thun-specific-buffs work differently than pretty much every other buff in the game. The safest plan is to presume it won't work, but test it anyhow.
Yea, I am, my bad. I forgot about (wherever it is) text, didn't use C'Thun in ages.
