More Reveals Originally Planned for Today, But There Were Issues
Disappointed about today's lack of reveals? Quite frankly, so were we. Aratil has responded and it looks like it was an issue with those who were going to be revealing cards today not being able to.
Quote from AratilWe originally had a few more card reveals for today, but the card reveals were all with partners and they unfortunately couldn't happen today due to a variety of issues. But good news! There will be two more card reveals tonight, so please look forward to them. There will also be more card reveals happening every day this week!
hype dead
They tried so hard and revealed little so far, But in the end it doesn't even matter.
Too soon? :o
But you don't give a shit about warlock we get it!
I call BS.
You mean like indie company type of issues? Kappa
I already have to do that as a New Zealander. xD
Aside from releasing new cards, where the fuck are the wild sets Blizzard? You can add a whole new preorder & cardback but can't re-implement something that was already there before?
Sit on it, no point in buying new packs now when you'll get more legendaries and less duplicates when the expansion comes out with the pack revamp.
No kidding. They are doing people a favor by holding them back for now.
bad time for Blizzard
What did you expect from a small indie comapny like Blizzard? Kappa
It had to happen... becouse Blizzard. Nothing can work when it should, but atleas they always fix it like 2-3 day after disaster.
Fuck you, Blizzard.
Blizzard must have a contract with all these twitch exclusives and failures happening at once with not just HS but all their titles.
Even Diablo 3 had a twitch exclusive interview which required subscription to the channel to watch... Wtf a dead title requires a payment to watch an interview about how the devs are doing fuck all.
Blizz needs to use some more modest marketing tactics rather than pissing on its player base with these half ass communications and releases. Blizzcon is going to only look like a good setup at this point because everything else this year was so terribly handled.
@Skyi101 You are wrong. You didn't had to pay to watch it live. You need the subscription to play it on demand later.
If you haven't noticed they don't care THAT much about reveals. But frankly, I don't get what all the fuss is about. The release isn't happening faster either way. Theorycrafting is not helped almost at all until many of the cards are revealed... I really can't understand why people are going crazy about the timing and method of the reveal.
This is kinda funny because it's a prime example of the risks associated with using third-parties for marketing. Normally, it would probably be pretty rare for more than one party to drop the ball, but from what I understand about this thing, it was at least 2 of them today.
It's just funny because for once, Blizzard got stung by its "partner program" or whatever they call it (basically the program the lets them get tons of advertising for free by using streamers). They're usually lucky enough for things to go pretty smooth, and they rake in hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising for free each year. It's good when things like this happen, because it's a reality check for companies. Reminds them that there's a downside for relying so much on third-parties and social media... We shouldn't ever let companies get too comfortable with this stuff, because the more of the share they put in the hands of others, the worse it can come crashing down when those people drop the ball. (And that's not even considering intentional sabotage.)
Lets all just thank that one streamer who actually reveal his card today like told so (even though his card derailed the hype train)
SAD!
