Trivia

  • This is a brand new brawl!
  • This brawl is a part of the Frost Festival event in Hearthstone; A Followup to the Midsummer Fire Festival.
  • Like the Fire Festival, special particle effects are active through your wow emote.

Frost Festival

  • No more double gold is active. Mistakes were made.
  • Each week during the Frost Festival, you will be given a free arena run!
  • With this free arena run you will also be given a quest that gives you 1 Frozen Throne Packs for playing 3 arena games.
  • Arena Runs started during the Frost Festival will automatically start with 1 win. 
  • The Frost Festival ends after 3 weeks, though the Brawl likely won't stay that long.

    

How it Works

  • Press the brawl button. You get a random hero (Uther or Jaina) with a predetermined deck.
  • Each player is immune to direct damage. The only way to take damage is to get hit by your Ragnaros? dying.
  • Ragnaros? will appear on each player's board. Take it out to deal 4 damage!
  • You are able to kill Ragnaros? multiple times each turn.
  • Got Armor? No point. Any armor you obtain disappears at the start of your turn and doesn't block damage when it is active.
  • Your Hero cannot be healed. Sorry about that.

      

Tips for Success

  • Although you can't attack with Ragnaros?, you can still buff him to help curb some deaths and to control those opposing minions.
  • Try to think a turn or two ahead. Really push for killing Ragnaros? multiple times per turn if possible. 
  • Don't be afraid of playing Bomb Squad - the Deathrattle doesn't work in this brawl!
  • Uther's deck is filled with buffs and many ways to immediately kill Ragnaros?. Buff up that Rag as a great way to annoy Jaina.
  • Jaina is running a Reno-style deck deck with plenty of options for control. Save your bigger spells for getting rid of Uther's buffed junk.
