Build Your Own Zombeasts! Try Our Deathstalker Rexxar Hero Power Simulator
Are you interested in the new Zombeast mechanic from Deathstalker Rexxar, but you're too excited to wait for the real deal? We've put together a tool to simulate his Hero Power!
Zombeasts are a new type of minion which are stitched together Beasts formed through Build-A-Beast. You'll use the power of Discover to merge a beast with lengthy card text into another one with a keyword or two to create an ultimate weapon. The beasts do have to be 5 mana or below though, so don't expect to create any King Krush abominations.
Be sure to share your creations in the comments below! Go check out the Zombeast Simulator.

Looking to learn more about Hearthstone's newest expansion? We've got our guide up already for it and will be updating it with the latest information and card reveals though the next couple of months, so be sure to swing on by and check it out!
Ah, but you see, the card effect is not a Battlecry, it is a persistent effect and thus it counts as the minion dealing the damage, same with Knife Juggler.
Battlecry damage is dealt by the minion.
Jungle Panther + Vicious Fledgling
WHAT HAVE I DONE
What about Stonetusk Boar + Vicious Fledgling
Does this have the added class discovery bonus added correctly? I have gotten waaaay too many "only neutral" picks for that to be the case I feel.
It's been confirmed that there is no class discovery bonuses related to the building of Zombeasts.
I don't think Pterrordax Hatchling should be placed in the keyword group and instead in the card text group. Because, if you combine it with another Battlecry minion, then it's card text will look strange because it would have Battlecry listed twice. There is also a gameplay issue. If you were to combine it with Crackling Razormaw and you try to Adapt a friendly beast, then who gets Adapted first? Your Zombeast or the beast you targeted? I think all Battlecry and Deathrattle minions will be placed in the card text group even if there Battlecry is as simple as "Battlecry: Adapt"
"You'll use the power of Discover to merge a beast with lengthy card text into another one with a keyword or two to create an ultimate weapon."
A weapon to surpas Metal Gear.
So, from my own experience... 20% of the time it was amazing, 40% of the time it was below average and another 40% total garbage.
Just going to throw it out there. Angry Chicken and rat pack is a low cost, high potential outcome that I got on my second roll. Seems like a strong mechanic that will require skill to use effectively. The two best sounding options may lose you the game.
I'll believe late game rexxar as viable when I see it, but this still seems like a really really fun card to play with.. One of those that might have a mediocre win rate, but so much fun when you pull it off
Hunters past turn 10. EleGiggle
Vicious Fledgling + Hyena/Boar/Hydra
I'm curious how fused crabs will work. U can't target battlecry twice so will it be "destroy pirate or murloc"?
Oh, ok.
It is written in the article: "You'll use the power of Discover to merge a beast with lengthy card text into another one with a keyword or two to create an ultimate weapon." So Vicious Fledgeling + Stonetusk Boar is the only one that will work.
Thanks Hearthpwn. We certainly need to milk the announcement video cards what with the developers making us wait almost a month before revealing any new cards...
Seriously though, someone tell Blizzard to stop doing that. I'd rather them just announce the expansion later than deprive us of news after teasing us.
I agree it's a poor way of doing it, they hold off for 3-4 weeks and then slam us with 5 cards everyday up until the weekend dump. Would rather we get 2 a day on average and they start now to keep a steady hype train instead of being so top heavy closer to release date.
Yeah, it disappoints us as much as it disappoints everyone else. We get ready for the reveal period, creating new assets, scrubbing the scripts, carefully planning things out, only to have our hopes and dreams shattered in an 8 minute video clip.
At least the reveal wasn't at 4 AM or something similarly silly for me.
At least it's not a Naxxramas where we wait 3 months to go from announcement to release. THAT is probably the biggest mistake in the history of Hearthstone; One that also gave birth to pre-nerf Undertaker :D
It is somewhat annoying, but at least they give us a heads up to start saving up our gold. Doing it with the double gold bonus was awesome of them too. People really need to evaluate the entire situation before bitching about not having their card reveals when they like.
