Our Card Design Competition Returns for Season 6!
HearthPwn's Card Design Competition is back! After taking a short break from the Season 5 Finale, we're back with another competition to let you output those creative juices.
This week we're designing cards that give a permanent negative effect to a minion.
Debuffering - Season 6 Competition #1
This weeks theme comes from gilgamesh1010, whose "Standoff" was the winner of our "No Mere Top Deck" competition.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- Your card must be a single-target spell
- Your card must be usable as a 'debuff' - that is, it must be able to give a negative effect to a minion
- The 'debuff' must be permanent - Pint-Size Potion would not count for this competition
- Examples of cards that would count include Humility, Blessing of Wisdom and Power Word: Glory
Submit Your Card Design Today!
Head on over to the submission thread to read the rules and submit your entry. Also be sure to check out this week's discussion thread.
It should say "summon a random Murloc". See Blessing of Wisdom and Power Word: Glory. Also, dot before "whenever".
So far this is the only good submission. I would use the hell out of that card.
power word:glory and Blessing of wisdom only counts as a debuff to the enemy player if you placed it on an enemy minion
Shouldn't it be "debuffing"?
It's our first competition back - we're still loading back up, and with my internet there may be some buffering happening.
giving an enemy minion a buff that triggers to your favor, it is technically a debuff. example: Blessing of Wisdom on an enemy minion
Except debuff and debuffer don't sound alike :\
Debuff and buffering sounds VERY much alike.
But they're supposed to sound almost identical to be a pun like "ice cream" and "I scream" or "worst" and "wurst."
