Just a Hallucination is This Week's Brawl!
These aren't my beautiful cards, this is not my beautiful deck! Your deck's overflowing with Hallucinations, go see how the other side plays.
Trivia
- This is a brand new brawl!
How it Works
- No deckbuilding this week, you'll be simply choosing a class.
- Be warned! Your class choice will determine the cards your opponent can select. Pick Warlock.
- You start out with 3 mana on your first turn.
- Your deck is filled with random spells from your class and the Rogue spell Hallucination.
Discuss this Brawl
Head on over to our brawl forums to discuss this week's brawl.
This has been so cool, a chance to play as some of the classes I haven't unlocked yet!
I opened nozdormu from the free pack
The irony...
"I like your class, I think I will PLAY IT!"
Amazingly fun brawl this time around.
RNGesus was with me today. Played vs a priest and he discovered Jaraxxus(though changing my discover cards to warlock) and played him. Next turn he discovered Malganis and played him. My next two discoveries were Sacrificial Pact and Siphon Soul lmao. 11/10 RNG.
Playing this as rogue is real fun!
Rogue vs rogue is totally bonkers but absolutely hilarious.
Surprisingly fun way to complete quests ;)
Fun stuff.
Ghaz'rilla'd
Well played, Blizzard.
Even if I get Inner Fire and Divine Spirit discarded by Doomguard [ :-/ ], this brawl is fun
Hey guys!
I have to say this brawl rocks! I know it is just all rng, but what we can expect from the tavern brawls nowadays .. and I guess I liked it because I had really nice rng :D.
I was matched against a mage while playing a rogue and I literally became the freeze mage and played bunch of their cards HAHA. I hope you guys can enjoy it :)
Just AN hallucination.
(Of course it's got an hole in it, it wouldn't be an hoop otherwise).
It depends on what accent you use (of course, accents are absent in writing anyways), but seeing as Blizzard is an American company "a hallucination" would most likely be correct for them. Us Americans like to pronounce our 'H' sounds, making 'a' a better fit.
Gotta love Blizzard's humor; the first sentence of the brawl's description is a reference to "Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads:
I enjoy the quirky games as a change of pace. Playing as a Priest against a paladin, he playsFree From Amber and gets Majordomo Executus. I was already behind, so think "Why not?", I play Lightbomb, and he turns into Ragnaros. I then play Hallucination, and I get Rogue options. I choose Swashburglar, play it and get another rogue card.
Ragnaros the Firelord is a Rogue? I did not see that coming. I tried to imagine him sneaking in the shadows to jump out and rob or gank someone. I just doesn't make sense to me. Isn't there a better class for him, like mage? Hurl some fireballs and pyro blasts. I don't know, but if it wasn't for this quirky brawl I don't think I would have had this fun experience.
If you play hallucination against a non-class, you'll always discover a Rogue card because Hallucination itself is a rogue card.
And just for any future reference (seeing as this brawl has already ended), if your opponent plays Jaraxxus, even as a different class to Warlock, you will from then on out discover Warlock cards.
Similar to how Ragnaros replaces your hero and, as he is a neutral card, your hero becomes neutral, Jaraxxus sets your hero class to that of a Warlock.
I might be in minority here, but i absolutely hate this brawl. Guess it just feels too much like current state of the arena, where your opponent just pulls wins out of his ass :) Which for brawl is fine, but i still dont like it, so qq me :P
I didn't notice at first that you started with 3 mana. On my first turn, I played one Hallucination, hit End Turn immediately, then noticed I had floated 2 mana without even hero powering. D'oh!
