The Return to Classic - Top Tavern Brawl Decks for "A Peek to the Past"

This week the overlords at Blizzard allowed us to step back into the past, kind of, in a new Tavern Brawl that only allows cards played from the Basic and Classic Sets. The reason why it isn't the full experience of the Classic game is due to us not having Epics and Legendaries allowed in our decks, and unfortunately(?) playing with changed cards.

With issues aside, this week's Brawl is still plenty of fun and makes for a different way to enjoy Hearthstone, and that's kinda awesome. Below we've rounded up the top decks that we think you should take to the Tavern this week. Get your games in before Monday!

I think people are underestimating Paladin. Aldor, Pyromancer, Equality, Consecration and Truesilver... So good. Yet, I see only Mages, Rogues and Hunters.

Paladin without the legendaries and Tirion is just like Priest without the game finisher.

anyone have a good rogue deck? I tried making a miracle rogue with no success, and then tried making a spell-damage-burst miracle rogue with minimal success. Of course, this was after I finished my 5 tavern brawls quest in 30 minutes by making a tempo mage.

Dear God please WHY?! Why would you list the cards in alphabetical order when we can't do the same in game? Please sort cards in an ascending mana cost format. >_<

It has changed a ton. Without shadow visions, DS/IF deck was terrible. This is very much the first meta where it has actually been a competitive deck.

Why? Just vanilla stats ... the 4 drops in those lists fit better for a particular class.

i've been doing pretty well with a ramp druid just trying to get out ogres and yetis, 8/8 taunt, sunwalkers and even the 5 cost 7/6 out early and in swarms, very hard to deal with big shot after big shot and giving them taunt.
