Vote For Your Favourite Community Created Number One Cards
It's that time again - time to vote for a winner in our weekly card design competition!
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
- Your card must have the number "1" in its effect text somewhere. Keeping it simple for the sendoff!
- Note that the word "One" doesn't count - so no trying to sneak in with otherwise illegal Choose One cards.
- We also won't be accepting numbers that happen to contain "1" - no Alexstraszas with 15s or Klaxxi Amber-Weavers with 10s please! We're looking specifically for the number "1".
- Some examples - Dr. Boom, Wisps of the Old Gods, Elven Archer, Hunter's Mark
This Week's Finalists
We had 210 entries in this week's competition but only 21 have made it to the top! As usual, you can cast your vote in the voting thread and check out any tokens that cards may use.

Barnes, the Forsaken art and idea is dope) also many good ideas and pics
Just want to point out for my card, Plated Knuckles, that you lose armor PRIOR to losing durability when attacking. There's been som confusion with people thinking this weapon would last endlessly, but it does not!
Screw it. Here are all the tokens (I'll do this for every forum from now on, but you still must vote HERE):
Ancient Sword
Elemental Disruption
Hello guys, my card is more like a theme card than effect so I need to post his story. I also spent 1 hour on photoshopping an undead Barnes so I hope you guys enjoy it. (sorry for my grammer in the story)
Deadwind Pass is a haunted forest and canyon on the edges of the Kingdom of Stormwind in the southern Eastern Kingdoms. Medivh made his foreboding home in Karazhan at the center of the Pass. After Barnes' successful performance at the party in Karazhan, Barnes returns to his home in the Stormwind city and continues to increase his fame by working in musicals. In several years he masters at singing and acting. Soon, he becomes the most famous artist in the Stormwind city. Driven mad from the fame, he spreads the word to people that he will be doing his last musical tonight. He promises that it will be his biggest masterpiece and no acting and singing will be able to match that play. A huge crowd shows up to the musical, from murlocs to humans! Even the ruler of the Stormwind, the young child king Anduin Wyrnn shows up to the play. Now Barnes knows that he has no other chance than keeping his promise. Barnes manages to make the crowd sob at every stage. The crowd's expectations for the last stage gets bigger and bigger. After getting ready for the last stage, he takes a sip from a mysterious potion. Soon, the closing scene starts. Everybody's eyes and ears are on Barnes who is supposedly poisoned by his own actor 'son'. Barnes falls into the ground in agony and starts to sing while waiting for his death and gives his last breath after finishing his song. The curtains close and the crowd starts clapping while mesmerized from the play. People still talks about the play for weeks and still not discovering the fact that Barnes did actually poison himself. For the most flawless play, he sacrificed himself to act better. His fame gets ahead of his life so much that his own rotting corpse was still forgotten behind the curtains.
After few months, the terorizing effects of the returning of the Old Gods finally reaches to Stormwind. The dead starts to rise by the power of the old god N'zoth, the Corrupter. Barnes gains his consiousness again while not knowing that he has turned into an undead. Or maybe he does knows but all he cares about is his fame. After learning that his musical was the best, he desperately starts to think about how to increase his fame more. Why not performing to a God he thought! He stood in front of the Old God N'zoth. While he is busy terorizing the Stormwind with his undead army, Barnes starts to sing. He sings louder and louder until N'zoth hears him. N'zoth finally notices him and stares at Barnes for a brief moment. Barnes starts to feel like he is the most successful artist in the world until he suddenly feels an intense pain. His lower jaw was being shredded by N'zoth, it seems like N'zoth doesn't like songs. Unable to sing anymore, Barnes runs away from the Stormwind City and gets lost in the haunted forest of Deadwind Pass along with the other lost souls. He tries to sing the wild animals but none of them were seem to hear him like the other livings. He wonders in the forest for days until he sees one of the ravens of Medivh lying dead on the ground. He sits next to it and starts mumbling the song that he sang just before his death. The raven returns to life, starts moving, then standing and listening Barnes' song. It was the first time that Barnes tried singing to the dead. It appears to be only the dead can hear and enjoy his charming songs. From now on, he still wonders in the haunted forest but not as a lost soul, but to set free the lost souls with the help of his singing and new companion, the Undead Raven.
I have a really cool idea about the raven too. His name is Bennu, a mythical egyptian bird. I will post his story in another competition
edit: THANKS COGITO!
Oh wow, some of them are crazy good! The 2 mana Warrior ability that reads "Kill a Bittertide Hydra player" made me lol though! xD
Though I wonder how it would make sense flavour-wise.
"It was on that very day that Garrosh strangled a Bittertide Hydra to death after directing the beast's mouth toward his enemy...LIKE A
MANORC"BEFORE ANYONE ASKS, TOKENS ARE IN THE VOTING THREAD.
Edit: Never mind, I'll just put the tokens above.
