I won't change making meme decks and having fun..These decks may be strong but after playing against them multiple times you lose the fun behind them..Be more creative and have fun with your decks should be the concept of this game..

deckbuilding is an important skill and will help you be win more against meta decks. learn to tech appropriately and your winrate will skyrocket. building an anti-meta deck that focuses on countering the 2 or 3 most popular decks will help you rank up much faster too since you will have an 80% winrate vs 60-70% of the meta, and a 30% winrate vs the 30% of the meta you aren't built to compete with

Paladin is defenitely more interesting. Which one is more powerfull i could not say, that also depends very much on the type of decks.
