Quote from BlizzardReady to test yourself against Hearthstone’s best in the fiercest competitive Tavern Brawl experience available? If you think you’re up to the challenge, get your deck ready and prepare for an expedition into the wilds of Hearthstone, because the first ever Wild Heroic Tavern Brawl begins this week!
Heroic Brawls
Heroic Brawls test even Hearthstone’s most experienced players as they vie for glory and in-game rewards! In the upcoming brawl, challengers will create a Wild deck using any cards from their existing collection and lock it in before their first Heroic Brawl match. No changes can be made to a Heroic Brawl deck once it’s locked in, so be sure to test your creations before you finalize your deck!
Once you’ve locked in your Wild deck, you’ll face off against fellow Heroic Brawlers on your quest for victory. Just like in the Arena, you want to shoot for 12 wins to get the best rewards—but if you suffer three losses, you’re out!
For Hearthstone’s best brawlers, 50 Journey to Un’Goro card packs, a heap of Gold, piles of Arcane Dust, and three golden Legendaries are waiting at the end of the 12-win road. The more games you win, the better the rewards—but the opposite is also true, so be sure you’re ready for the challenge. Are you ready to take on the best and brightest of competitive Hearthstone?
Heroic Brawl is not for the faint of heart, and is a unique experience meant for extremely competitive and experienced Hearthstone players.
Heroic Brawl lasts for only one normal Tavern Brawl week and has an entry fee of $9.99 USD or 1000 gold. You can participate in Heroic Brawl for a limited amount of completed runs. As mentioned above, Heroic Brawl rewards scale depending on how many wins you get, so be sure to do your best each run!
Watch the Action
Not quite ready to step into the ring? If prior Heroic Brawls are any indication, your favorite pro players and streamers will be joining the Heroic Brawl and you can watch them battle it out live on stream. The decks they’ll be playing during the Wild Heroic Brawl are sure to be impressive, so be sure to catch the action on Twitch.tv!
Our normal Tavern Brawl schedule will resume after the conclusion of the Wild Heroic Tavern Brawl week.
Wild Heroic Tavern Brawl arrives this week, so prepare your Wild decks now!
right, so if there is an option to play either standard or wild for the Heoric brawl then the people who enjoy wild will play the wild Heroic Brawl, and the people who enjoy standard will play the standard Heroic Brawl. Both players would get to play the version of Hearthstone that they enjoy. It would be better that way.
I would say the most likely reason is that it splits the player pool into at least half. The number of people entering the heroic brawl is probably not that large so splitting that in half (or more likely unevenly such as 30-70) could drastically increase wait times. There would also be some complexity in adding a second queue even if they designed the system well.
Tip for anyone who plans on playing this: just play N'zoth Secret Paladin and you literally can't lose LUL I've reached legend in wild 4 times since standard/wild introduction. Everytime I've got to legend in like 7-8 days and that insanely good for me because in standard I usually finish between rank10-rank5 barely. And it is NOT as frustrating as standard. Wild is more fun than people think it is. My last game on rank1 just before becoming legend 2 months ago was against mech warlock LUL You see absolutely most craziest decks ever!
how about one free entry in the brawl?
I'm fine with this. I won't play it, but I can finally see popular streamers play around with wild decks. It might give me some ideas for wild ranked decks.
So... they announce the brawl that costs 1K gold 2 days before it's release how do they expect anyone to participate? pay 10 bucks lol..
probably there are some people who do that..
Anyway still think it's bad value, won't be getting my 40 dust from TB this week it seems.
Can they just make this a permanent mode so they can quit ruining my Wednesday.
Fuck me with 4/5 done on the tavern brawl quest.
So many whiny belly-achers! Waaahh Blizzard wants my money! You can't get your free pack this week, so freakin what! We just got THREE free packs. If you want a true free to play game then just play Solitaire on your computer and shut the freak up already!
Yeah, Blizzard is SOOO generous. 70 million players and we got 3 whole packs! I mean, 7 would have made more sense, but that would require Blizzard to have a soul.
Bliz used Siphon Soul way too many times...
If they made this something seperate that didn't take away from the weekly pack and fun I get from regular brawls, I wouldn't care about this at all. It's just really annoying that they make me unable to play the brawl the entire week when I have no interest to play this at all.
At blizzard HQs
- We should give silverback patriarch +1 health
+Why?
-To make (another) heroic tavern brawl in the new meta ofc
+Seems legit
Prepare yourselves, secret paladins are coming..
I will not play this brawl to be sure. And even if I could I wouldn't play this deck. I mean, I know the great times of secret pally passed away, but in the previous season I did (at first day) 13-0 with this deck and I had already rank 13. So against specific decks, it's still just OP.
Don't even have 300 gold. FeelsBadMan
Sitting this one out, but good luck to all who will be participating
Why cant blizz realize that this is how most people feel about this brawl...
