I tend to get one or two standard lists just right, and then don't sweat gaps in the newer cards. So being able to purchase wild decks would be sweet.

I voted "yes" on both, because I don't see any reason why new players shouldn't be able to buy old packs if they want to. However, I have all the adventures and enough old cards that packs would be 40 dust most of the time, so I'm not interested in buying any.

It would be nice if crafting costs were lowered for Wild, so I could fill the blanks in my collection. Since I play both Standard and Wild, I'm prioritizing new and Classic cards at the moment, as those can be used in both formats. I have crafted the occasional Wild rare that I wanted to include in a deck, but I'm hesitant to spend a lot of dust on a Wild legendary.

I've said it before and I'll say it once again.....THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS.  If ya don't like it, DON'T BUY THEM!!!!  How does this hurt anyone????  Plus it only helps Blizz make more money (I see nothing wrong with a company wanting to make money....hummmm, funny.....that's how our economy works!!!!!!)

Not sure if anyone else said it, but an overlooked fact is that this helps free to play players as well, especially those who don't own the Wild adventures or are new to the game completely. Saving the Gold and getting the adventures gives players an opportunity to get more Legendaries for free and dust if they choose to disenchant any of the cards. Purchasing one wing of an adventure for 800 gold may not get you as many cards as 8 packs, but 1 legendary card for 800 gold is better than what you'll get from 8 packs 99 out of 100 times. 

I have all adventures, so I don't care. All I want is, GvG cards to my collection :)

I don't even understand why they disabled the ability.  It makes no sense from a business perspective since it costs them absolutely nothing to keep this stuff available.

They said they didn't want to confuse new players by allowing them to buy cards they can't use in Wild and Standard. Avoid the whole 'Oh, sorry you bought 200 packs of GvG, but don't actually like the Wild format.'

 Just a very big warning like "CAUTION, THIS PACK IS WILD FORMAT, YOU CANNOT PLAY STANDARD WITH THEM, ARE YOU SURE ABOUT IT?" for solve this problem.

Just saying, I think they should do year packs, Eg. The Kraken pack or the Mammoth pack for when the next year starts. Maybe 150 gold and a chance to pull a card from any of the three sets of the year.  Seems cool to me, plus the higher cost may discourage new players from accidentally buying cards for wild as opposed to standard which, if memory serves, was the reason Blizzard discontinued packs for sets that had rotated in the first place. Just a thought...

From what I've read in the comments, I also like the ability of getting Wild card packs that are 25% off the original price. However, there is the arcane dust issue. What if we made two different sets of Arcane dust where one only makes/is created by Standard cards and one only makes/is created by Wild cards? It would solve the problem, right?

Why is arcane dust an "issue?"  The stuff is so ridiculously grindy to obtain in the first place, especially since it's just a digital entry in a of 1s and 0s in a video game: you know, the kind of stuff we used to just enter cheat codes to obtain (thereisnocowlevel).  Yet, here we are, spending real money on a make-believe resource and also worried that making it slightly less absurdly expensive to obtain is bad thing?

Edit:  sorry, I just understood you meant about "the issue," with regard to to possibility of people only buying older packs simply to grind dust.  My point still stands, however.  If someone has bought so many packs that their card collection is mostly complete and the only reason for buying packs is to obtain dust for crafting, I'd say Blizzard should cut them a preferred member/sucker discount.

For me the best way is create a new pack called "Wild Cards", it is possible to open any Wild card (adventures included).
