Today my friends, is the end and beginning of something amazing. The final cards of the Journey to Un'Goro have all been revealed and the chaos is now over. A couple of things were mentioned on stream we thought we should share:
- New UI Feature. If you mouseover your deck, it now tells you how many cards are in your hand!
- The expansion launches April 6th!
- Reminder: The new hero they showed on stream is none other than Maiev Shadowsong who was announced as being the reward for playing 10 Year of the Mammoth Standard games back in February.
A huge thank you goes out to all our staff that were available throughout the reveal period to help make this possible. You guys are awesome! Alphabetically, our heroes are: Asylum_Rhapsody, Chimera, FrostyFeetEU, Sandernightsite, ShadowsOfSense, Sylicas, and xskarma. Neonangel too for the Arena Impact updates!

Being grateful looks different than asking for more.
The free "Value" already tripled compared to the first few Years and the Time needed to invest halfed, if they would give people what you asked for, people like you would just ask for more 1 moment later, so whats the Point.
Yea 3 expansions in 1 year, if you play each day for 1 hour or even half an Hour, in 4 month you achieve the entire Collection. If you disenchant all the cards you don´t want, you´re set for the next Expansion.
And Blizz already give so much more Free stuff than you remember, 11? free packs with Mean streets of Gadgetzan, 1 quick click on the Internet for up to 5 Packs several Times a year, Brawls, Arena doesn´t rly give you less anymore than buying a Pack, even with 0 wins you get a entire Pack + the Dust from a usual card Pack, and once you get good, you can achieve an entire free Pack per Hour with only playing Arena and not loosing Gold.
The Options are there, but People asking for more and more while wanting to do nothing for it, just cause Blizz releases 50 cards more a Year or you just started to play, Thats simply not how Life and even less, Games, r working.
How high the baseline for F2P players currently is is entirely irrelevant. The only relevant metric is player retention. There is no such thing as giving too much if it maintains the health of the game by retaining enough F2P players. It's only too much if nothing or little is gained in terms of retention.
As for new players, their introduction into the game is vitally important. You can't get paying customers if they are scared away by being too far behind the curve. Designing policy based on emotional feelings like "they don't deserve it" or " that's not how real life works" is a recipe for failure. Market share, player retention, player engagement, average money spent, etc. are what policy should be based on. You can't setup your business model the way you think it "should be" and expect people to change to fit your model.
Look, what I:m saying is that we hope that they'd do the same thing with what they did with Old Gods here. Why do you think they gave a free legendary to everyone before?
Regardless if they give a free quest or not, I don't see myself stop playing anytime soon. And it's just one quest. You'd still need to get other cards to be able.to use it properly. It's not as if I said they should give half of the set for free. It's just one freakin quest.
warlock possible 12 discards in standard deck, include succubus etc. without deathwing,
quest need 6 dis card, its terribly hard
6 discard means 12 card and without discarding card discarding card that discard ............ it is Super hard
I'm reaching 14 discards, not 12. Soulfire(2), Darkshire Librarian(4), Succubus(6), Lakkari Felhound(10), Doomguard(14).
Still you'll have to draw more than half your deck if you discard the wrong cards. But discard lock does have a lot of card draw. We'll have to see how hard it really is in practice.
Amazing! Has to be the expansion with the least packfillers ever.
Only downside is that there are like 50 similar dinosour minions that i'm not going to remember.
The first expansion after a rotation is always going to have a higher percentage of constructed playables.
Do you have a source where thats based on? I can't remember blizz saying that.
The source is in his ass from which he pulled out this statement.
It's basic logic. Constructed decks aim to play the best cards in the format. The fewer cards in the format, the more new cards will make the cut. The total percentage of cards that get played in constructed rarely changes by much because the number of viable archetypes rarely changes by much overall.
And...Priest will be back to garbage tier...
you two are out of your mind
The rogue is a meme
The set contains 135 collectible cards in total - 45 neutral cards and 90 class cards (10 per class). There are in total 49 Commons, 36 Rares, 27 Epics, and 23 Legendaries.
Each class receives two Legendary cards: a Quest card and a Minion card. There are 5 neutral Legendary cards.
Guys, you really know hat that means ?
You have to quest much more then going to Un'Goro...
EU got packprice increase with 10-30% - This year will see about ~400 new cards instead of about ~270 the years before and now 3 more legendaries then usual and especially 2 !!! class legendaries.
Mucho, mucho money needed - no more f2p/new players... or they have to bring big chances to (daily quest) rewards !
Quest are nothing and 1 pack a week is far from being enough. They need to give us a lot more way to obtain card for free though play time. Impatient people will always buy pack no matter what, especially all the big streamer.
On the other hand, there HAVE to be consequences for free-to-play users or the business model fails.
