I wouldn't want to see your blood pressure with all that salt.
I'm actually looking forward to Un'Goro. I think the elemental mechanic (and addition of a new tribe) is interesting, the quests will help develop new decks, and lets face it Reno/Kazakus was a quest, just didn't have the separate card to drive it.
Is every card a home run, no, but they never are.
Dude, I make a humorous critic and you think I'm salty? I would be if I paid for the pre-launch bundle. ATM I'm relishing in my infinite wisdom of not doing it.
You saying it's interesting is the same as saying "yeah, sure". It's not like when discover came out in LoE, but I guess it'll have to do.
Quests are a new thing, again, granted. I'm sceptical as to how it will fare in playability. The whole "you lose a card in your initial hand" bothers me a lot, even tough I think it's the best solution for a card that is a quest. So yeah, not quite a reno or a kazakus.
They need to come up with a new discover, and fast. They're recycling the idea, but it's getting old.
Maybe it was an humorous critic, but maybe it sounds much like sodium overload, also known as salty mouth syndrome*Winks*
Maybe? lol, it's not like I was cursing or trying to be very stern about the way I addressed the issues. You're the ones that seem salty when someone doesn't conform to the blind hype. But hey, you're the ones patting devs on the back and congratulating them for the great effort to create a 12/12 for 10 mana /w shroud (attention, read this in humorous tone, immagine me with my hand palms facing up on each side of my torso while I smirk)
I think it's time we change Godwin's law from "comparing to hitler" to "declaring salty".
I love how everyone complains about the originality. Listen here, mate, how the hell should they be more original? How? Just tell me. This is the fifth expansion, there are hundreds of cards. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be original on any single card. How many different effects could even exist? How many? What the hell should a card do in order to be considered original by you?
This is official, sir: I dare you to build at least 13 original cards that cannot be IN ANY WAY related to any existing effect/card in the game.
You may be asking, why 13? Because if you actually manage to create 13 original cards, remember that it is only 10% of the work they actually do at Blizzard.
ramp it out turn 6 with double innervate, and turn 7 menagerie warden. GG
Well this is underwhelming.
It's probably a good card; imagine giving him taunt or Menagerie Warden-ing him.
But man, this is such a boring card.
Looks like a 3/2 Raptor - or maybe his big daddy who is 5/4 -- but not like a 12/12
I don't get all the shade being thrown here. Not every legendary needs to be a innovation vortex. A legendary just needs to have good value. A 12/12 that can't be single target removed or frozen can be a pain. There are certainly numerous class legendaries worse than this.
Yup, super value. "I've got beasts in my sight".
people are going to play 5 mana 4/2 for sure
If somehow it sees some play (which I doubt a lot because the card is way slow especially for the current meta), they are really going to play it.
If this forces opponents to carry BGH in their deck again then that's fine. Given all the other big minions a Control Druid can drop either BGH will already be gone or if he's using on this legendary then he won't be available to take out other big minions. In any event, this card isn't as bad as the bandwagoners are claiming.
When you're on a deadline to come up with new cards, and the team meeting is half an hour away, but you're shit out of ideas.
It looks like a 1/1 token, not a 12/12
I don't think this will be viable unless they introduce additional cards.
You're in luck? There are still 7 more Druid cards we haven't seen and a ton more Neutrals.
In a way, this card is relieving to me.
Less crafting compulsions for my preferred classes.
