Vote For Your Favourite Community Created Elemental Cards!
It's that time again - time to vote for a winner in our weekly card design competition!
The theme of the this week's competition was simple; Your card must either be an Elemental, produce an Elemental, or interact with Elementals in some way. You have the Elemental tribe represented somewhere on your card, you're good.
This Week's Finalists
We had 140 entries in this week's competition but only 17 have made it to the top! As usual, you can cast your vote in the voting thread and check out any tokens that cards may use.

Literally all of these are better than the ones blizzard designed.
Even "Battlecry: You played an elemental last turn"?????
Well, maybe it's not better than all of them... but it's certainly not useless.
I voted for Tidal Elemental, Hydromorph, Fel Flame, Timid Tornado, Kirin'Oul, and Eel-ementalist.
Each is a great, well-designed card that can support a few different styles of play. Hydromorph in particular is my favorite, as it could be used for Elemental synergy or removal, depending on what sort of deck you're using or what situation you're in. And did I mention that those Elementals are damnably cute?
There were other cards that had good ideas behind them, but didn't feel balanced correctly. Cruel Pyromancer, for example - that's a very nice effect backed by a much higher than average statline. Lump of Coal is fun hero-power synergy, but a Reckless Rocketeer for 4 mana (or less!) is way too powerful. Mage has enough direct damage as it is. Unrelenting Pebble and Over-Lodestone are wonderful ideas, but, well, there's not much point in such a small effect. As synergistic as it may be, there's always going to be a better card for that slot, except perhaps in Reno decks.
Regardless of analysis, though, these have been the best batch of community-created cards I've seen yet! It was a pleasure to look through them. Let's see who comes out on top.
It's quite cool my card made it up there I'm not holding my breath in winning as I think my card could have been much more refined so I think ultimately my vote will go to fel flame as I feel like that card is a much more refined and thought out version of mine
how do u submit your creations ??? had an elemental card ready for this but cant send?
it was a Dawnspawn, 2 mana 1/4 priest elemental,
Whenever your hero is healed, deal 1 damage to all other minions. deathrattle: restore 2 health to all friendly characters.
:( cant even show it in post.
Lots of good ones, but I think that the Tidal Elemental seems the best.
Isn't anyone bothered that the unstable entity's image is a copy paste from a minion in the strategy game Faeria?
It is, unfortunately. You can see it here - http://faeria.gamepedia.com/Everbloom_Wisp. If you didn't know, you didn't know! It's not like there are points off for plagiarism here.
i wasn't judging anyone, just a bit bothered.
Fel Flame is a crazy good card for the Warlock quest. It's also a good card without the quest. Generating 7/7 worth of stats off of one 3 cost card is good value, even if the 2/2 tokens cost 2 mana.
Not quite. It being an elemental, it also enables your elemental triggers. It's a fantastically well designed card.
My vote goes to Tidal Elemental, I'm actually surprised this card doesn't exist.
Burning Trickster gets my vote for last place. Not only is it ridiculously worded but it completely disregards the entire elemental mechanic.
I like the idea of have an elemental take form from fel magic, but i don't imagine the the felfire elemental costing that low if ever made in game.
I liked the Cruel Pyromancer design. Make elemental deck more consistent in the long run.
The spell that summons a copy of the last elemental doesn't trigger battlecries or count as playing an elemental that turn. Primordial Ecco is pretty much just like playing a faceless manipulator it seems useless the way it sits now. If it put a 0 mana copy that cancels its own battlecry and is discarded at the end of the turn If not played it would at least let you use it to play a 1cost elemental.
Sumonning a 1/2 copy could be useful if the elemental have some effect like Ragnaros. But would be better if the spell said that you put a 1 cost copy into your hand.
My vote goes to unrelenting pebble, it makes smart use of the mechanic. only thing i hate is why shaman?? as if they don't have enough eles in their hand... give it to another class and it is the bomb!
Trickster would've be my first vote, but it just feels punishing as you cant play around it. both good/bad design.
I'd love to vote for tidal elemental, even if it has nothing to do with elemental mechanics, its effect is kinda fun. but sadly weak, cause it's an excess duplicate mostly.
I thought about making it a Warrior card. But Elementals imo dosen't feel.... Warrior like. Making it a mage card would make about as much sense as a Shaman, and i just happen to like Shamans colors more than mages :P
Thank you for you support tho :)
