Year of the Mammoth Login Rewards Start Wednesday
The Year of the Mammoth Login rewards that we datamined back in the last patch are arriving starting this Wednesday, March 29th!
Reminder: The new hero they reference is none other than Maiev Shadowsong who was announced as being the reward for playing 10 Year of the Mammoth Standard games back in February.
Quote from DaxxarriWhen Journey to Un’Goro arrives, we’ll mark the end of the Year of the Kraken and the beginning of a new Hearthstone year: the Year of the Mammoth. This new Hearthstone Year brings a fresh start in the form of an updated Standard format, a new Hearthstone hero, and more—so it’s a great time to celebrate!
Mammoth Brawls
We kicked things off on March 15 with the first of three special Year of the Mammoth Tavern Brawls that each award a Journey to Un’Goro card pack upon achieving a well-earned victory! Another arrives on March 29, so be sure to join the fray!

You mean the nations where Blizzard has never once previously made any cost adjustments to deal with fluctuations in exchange rates, and players outside of the United States have been getting cheaper cards for for the last 3 years for no reason other than arbitrage?
The system will never be "fair" to everybody unless Blizzard adjusts the pack prices every day to account for exchange rates. Which would be annoying as hell to anybody outside of the United States.
If the situation were reversed, you'd be gloating over how those self-entitled American pigs were finally not having their cheaper cards subsidized by higher prices paid by everybody else, and it was about damn time Blizzard fixed it so those damn Americans paid their fair share for this game.
Blizzard isn't in charge of the world economy dude. Nobody is. No matter how you slice it, somebody is getting screwed. That's been the U.S. for most of Hearthstone's run.
Make it permananent!!
so I guess that means the set is on the 5th?
No, you just need to log in on April 5th
Nice to see daily login rewards, poor to see that they are so light. It's pretty much necessary to buy at least the 50 packs bundle in order to have a chance to compete here
They could give you zero free packs if they wanted so maybe hush.
U got a purrrrdy mouth der Boy!
I'm not complaining aboutthe free stuff, neither about the amount each day. I'm rather complaining about the fact that this is just a 1-week-thing in each expansion. Doing this permanently would seriously be awesome

You, sir, have no idea of how it is to live in your own house. Are you still living in your parent's home? If you live in your own home, you would see the problem
It will not save the F2P players but it's better than nothing. :-)
Would love this to be permanent, but what can you do - people got to earn a living.
I thought Maiev Shadowsong was supposed to be a login reward too?
I think we just have to play some games to get her.
I was about to ask the same question.

Congrats Blizzards. Now I can never not login. I'm here for good.
hum... it's only 8 days
I'm hoping after the first week, there'll be a cycle. Be a nice add on.
So you'd prefer a more stale meta, which you would absolutely not complain about? Kappa.
