This is scary. It's a tribe-specific, more-reliable Divine Favor with no counter and a free 8/8. Crazy tempo.
5 mana 8/8 to Shaman...
Why not...
It'll be pretty late in the game by the time it's ready. It's not like it's actually ready for turn 5.
Dumb comment lmao
As far as I remember, murlocs never were really playable in shaman since maybe closed beta. Even despite of all Blizzard's attempts to force this archetype (Neptulon, Siltfin, Call Finishers and Everyfin Awesome), and they pursue their attempts to force shaman worship murlocs:) I suppose it is permanent forced archetype in all expansions and adventures:) Ok, at least they are not introducing new Totem Golem and Tuskar :)
You're right.
But I want you to remember how people laughed af Blizzard when 'Blizzard is forcing Murlocs into Paladin and we know this won't ever be a succes' so it might actually become a deck.
Always remember metas shift.
I'm not sceptic about murloc shaman, it is more about "forced archetype" in pwn's Bingo. And speaking about decks - true murloc decks were viable and played, as i mentioned back in beta and downfalled with the rise of zoolock as a replacement for board-flooding archetype. Since that time - there wasn't any successful deck consisted mainly with murloc tribe. Even Neptulon was played just as a late-game hand refiller with minimum synergy with other cards in deck.
Love these! Also feel like we've seen all this with dragons, though.
This quest lets you refill your hand when you run out of steam, but the question is - is playing murloc shaman viable at the first place? And it doesn't feel like it is.
It depends on the new murlocs. Today it's nos viable, maybe after this expansion it is.
Yeah, we'll have to wait until all cards are released before we can say for sure. Dinosaur that adapts all murlocs kinda works towards this.
I don't think it won't be viable now.
I mean,Call in the Finishers = 40% of the quest completed plus Finja, the Flying Star and you have 70%, and the new neutral murloc or even Murloc Tidehunter and you're done.
Off course it depends on the meta, but still, all that with the typical board clears and anwsers of a Shaman, I can totally see it.
I'm not saying the quest is hard to complete. It is not. The issue is - reward for playing murlocs is just more murlocs. If playing murlocs without this quest won't be good enough - it won't be good enough with this quest either.
I heard somewhere that the quest are gonna be free, is this true?
Quests are 1-mana legendary cards. They will come out of packs just like normal expansion legendaries.
Galvadon ... Text will read Battlecry: Adapt Twice
Indeed! The only thing we know about warrior is bad meme card... :P
Cool. Cool cool cool.
Ok so megafin can give you another megafin?
