Encounter at the Cross Roads is this Week's Brawl! There's a Twist Though, and an Un'Goro Pack Reward!
Encounter at the crossroads! Pick a class. Let's see what's in your deck this time!
Trivia
- We've seen this brawl a total of 5 times now.
- The first time we saw this brawl was on July 15, 2015.
- This week's brawl has a slight modification featuring Party Crashers. These probably won't be in future Crossroad brawls.
- We get an Un'Goro pack this week as a special reward for winning a game! This pack cannot be opened until the expansion releases.
The Brawl
- Choose your class and get a randomized deck of cards.
- The deck will contain 15 class cards and 15 neutrals.
- It is possible to break the normal card limitation where you can have more of 2 than a card (more than 1 for legendaries).
- This Week: Party Crashers start being summoned after a couple of turns.
- These minions are 4-mana 3/5s which have Taunt and attack automatically at the end of your turn into your opponent's face.
Discuss This Week's Brawl
Head on over to the discussion thread on our Tavern Brawl forums!
Did they play this brawl before pushing it Live? My guess is no.
My only other theory is that this is a bug and the "Party Crashers" are supposed to choose a random enemy and not always go face...
Disappointed that the Party Crashers always go face. I thought they'd act like Mini-Rags, which I think would be far more interesting.
Better value than a classic pack (for most ppl)
The more they delay release, the better for us F2Pers. More time to grind gold.
I saved my 5 tavern brawl win quest for this? ugh.
Like spending 5,000 gold for it is better.
Wow, this brawls sucks so hard.
I am not a big fan of this gimmick. I`ve played a couple of Tavern Brawls and always the second players wins if the other cannot kill the Party Crasher, it`s like trying to beat a Pirate deck: If you don`t have an aswer early you will lose.
Free taunt minions with charge that ignore taunt and go face. This brawl plays itself. Literally.
Person who can remove the first taunt wins. Which also means, the RNG of a random deck having a low curve mulligan is of utmost importance, in a Tavern Brawl that ends in 5 turns pretty much regardless of what you do.
Slick design. LUL
Not sure this is the worst Brawl yet. But it's definitely the most thoughtless.
I'm sure it was announced as "early April" somewhere by devs. One more proof Blizzards don't have sh*t done.
Well they kinda announce yesterday, that it will be out in 4 weeks.. If there is only early and late, then 15th April is early 😉
The packs themselves used to say "early April." They changed it.
True, didn't say otherwise.
I wonder if every tavern brawl between now and release will reward Un'Goro packs?
and that, my friends, is how you build hype for a set!
A shitty Tavern Brawl and a pack we can't open for a month? Yeah, so hype,
as a F2P a free pack is a free pack xD no matter when we can open it, free cards/free dust :D
i just assumed there were ungoro cards in the brawl this is kind of mediocre actually
I know it's kinda lame but I'll be happy to see that little pack with that yellow ribbon on it sitting there waiting for me to unpack it in April.... It's probably going to be the only time I'll ever see my pack number be more than "0" for more than 10 seconds....
