Streamer Showdown ft. Kripparrian, Disguised Toast, and Ben Brode
This past Monday we saw the wits of Kripparrian, Disguised Toast, and local Hearthstone hero, Ben Brode, battle it out on the game show, Streamer Showdown. The trio competed against each other for points to see who would come out on top. Can Disguised Toast keep the title of champion?
You can find older episodes of Streamer Showdown over on ChanManV's YouTube.
Pretty funny - have to admit Brode's laugh is infectiously honest.
Wow, what's this hate of Kripp about? I do not think that he is arrogant nor boring, he is just the way he is. Some people are like this, you know, monotonous-sounding like not giving a f*ck, but this does not mean that they ARE this way. If you really listen to his words and the way he says them you will maybe see that he has some kind of dry sense of humor. I find this very entertaining.
I am 35 years old and I met many people in my life who are like Kripp and all of them are very nice people. People on the internet are judging so fast. I would blame their age for this, you need some life experience to learn tolerance and how to judge people right (and that if you do not like someone there is no need to spread hate against them).
Let my try to explain this in a way younger people may understand better. Kripp is like Squidward in Spongebob. If you are young you do not like him, because he is always ill-tempered and arrogant. Spongebob and Patrick are funnier, but the older you get, the more you start to develop sympathy for Squidward and how he sees things.
Maybe that comparision was stupid, but I hope you'll get the point. ;)
Anybody catch the 17:57 subliminal Trump card message LMFAO!?
What you mentioned about Toast is definitely wrong :p The kid is smart... He's dedicated to hearthstone and hence those two things combined can trigger answers faster than others... if he was serious the entire game he wouldn't have lost any question imo... I just know this from watching all his videos, watching him on shows and how he plays each game... That bachelor of Mathematics wasn't for nothing xD
OMG this was so funny ,.. haven't seen any of the other episodes .. well gotta go see them now ;)
'We can just flip a Coin, I mean it's Hearthstone themed right?"
I fucking died
"A legendary mage and Fireballs can summon me" for Faceless Shambler.
Am I missing something? I don't get this hint at all
Medivh gives you Atiesh which, when you cast Fireball, a 4-mana spell, summons a random 4 mana minion.
Kripp is a guy who is likeable because of his bluntness/saltiness .Twitch chat often likes to troll him for that when he rages a little bit(which is natural for a human being, like he plays enough hearthstone in a day that I play in a week).Well say you built a full board and opponent topdecks a flamestrike, abyssal, deathwing and this happens to you all the time(abyssal...) and 20000 people are watching it and having fun what do you expect?.Just like the person for what he is for the love of god.
Please "SAP" Kripp back to his arenas... He was sooooo boring, seems like he doesn't wanted to be there.
Kripp is a recluse man. Probably doesn't have any friends, just animals. He probably also likes taxidermy.
Kripparian is the most borred and arrogant person in that video everybody was having fun but he had a crap attitude. He was acting like he was above them all.
Noxious = 9/10 - great show man
Toast = 6/10 - he was trying to win too much. It was like he had his exams --- i need to win .. i need to win ...
Kripparian = 2/10 - bored, arrogant, not inline with the rest
Brode = 9/10 - he was acting like he was supposed to act. Was expecting a card since he won:))
Well Kripp was fun at times actually. But yeah, he was pretty clear about not being very enthusiastic about the show. I guess he got used to getting money for everything he does nowadays....
He did deliver an epic burn there at the end, tho, you have to admit.
I agree that Toast felt a little too tryhard. But at the same time, it made the ending pretty darn exciting to watch.
Overall, I think the game would run a bit smoother if they did a quick "example" at the beginning of each round to level the learning curve for the contestants. That way new players aren't penalized by confusion as to exactly what the judges want on the first question. (You see what I'm talking about any time Noxious says, "Now you have a better idea about what we're looking for," after Kripp or Brode gets the 1st question of a round wrong.) I think that's a big advantage for Toast who is a lot more used to the game. The flip the coin thingy was great. However with his mind i think he can do better than that. Afterall WE pay for entertainment. Be more enthusiastic when you are doing something with The "Rap" Brode
Wtf Toast > everyone else
Toast has a competitive spirit and he's smart so that helps :P
You go on gameshows to have fun and win... don't you agree?
I believe he wasn't even serious on all the questions and if he was it would've been too one sided...
Amazingly Funny ! Must Watch !
Best show ! EVER
