A payload delivered means it actually goes to the end. Seeing the enemy team doesn't want that, you can pretty much safely assume the amount of payloads that have been tried to deliver is 4-5x as much.

Then there are also maps with no payloads either, so I think people spend enough time on it as it is.

Long scale vs short scale. In my country, Billion is 10^12 but in most english speaking countries, it seems billions refers to 10^9
