The Best Gadgetzan Decks to Play Right Now
The meta has settled in since the launch of Gadgetzan a couple of weeks ago and it's time to look at what is coming out on top for ladder play. If you're looking for something strong to play, you've come to the right place.
You can click on any of the decks below to go to a more in-depth guide to learn more about their playstyles. Also, be sure to share your experience and tips you have for these decks in the comments!
Renolock
There's nothing the HearthPwn mod team loves more than Renolock. These are some of the most fun decks to add to our deckbuilder during tournaments, especially when they're in a foreign language. On a more serious note though, Renolock has gained serious momentum with the introduction of Kazakus due to some of the crazy control that the card provides.

Aggro Shaman
Yes, we know, Shaman. There's been some disappointment that Shaman still ranks in the top of decks but hey, at least it's fun! Gadgetzan's Pirate additions helped bring Aggro Shaman out on top thanks to the incredible Patches the Pirate and Small-Time Buccaneer which has great synergy with Spirit Claws.

Miracle Rogue
Last but certainly not least, you're looking for Miracle Rogue! Much like how Aggro Shaman benefited from the Gadgetzan Pirates, Miracle Rogue did as well. That and the amazing Counterfeit Coin have really helped push the deck back into the spotlight and it brings back great memories of one of the more arguably fun decks this game has seen.
Bonus points for being effective against Pirate Warrior and Aggro Shaman.

This is Tempo Storms Teir One list....
is that mentioned ?
The order is different. Tempostorm had /aggro sham/renolock/miracle rogue
Never seen a miracle rogue...
Occasionally get a aggro shaman...
But the game is filled with renelock and aggro pirate warriors...
FML
Renolock is such a cancer -.-
Hello guys! First thing I would like to say is that you should switch the video settings to HD!
First game is versus a miracle rogue, going pretty well and pretty easy. The second game is against a renowarlock, where I had to get a bit lucky but nothing enormous.
Thank you for your watching guys! If you liked this please consider liking or even subscribing!
lies #1 pirate warrior
Pirate warrior is still top 5. Dragon warrior with pirates may be slightly better. Both just a little behind aggro shaman according to Data Reaper. Miracle rogue and dragon priest round out the >50% win rate decks.
lord JaraX is out of the meta duo to aggression in most decks you face, most players do not put this card in deck. Tempo storm has cut it out too.
Tournaments are completely different to ladder. You can run a combo Renolock if you know exactly what deck you're going to use it against (ie your opponent's control decks) but on ladder where you have to be able to beat anything with one deck, you need answers for everything, including the heal and late game pressure of Jaraxxus for decks like Jade Druid. Combo Renolock is not going to work on ladder because there's no way you can hold out against aggro like Pirate Warrior if your win condition is a combo that has only one copy of each card in your deck.
Tempo storm, is this a joke? you really are using Tempo storm to cover up your argument. You have no voice here by just saying that.
And kid, you don't know what you are talking about, for real.
I've won a few matches just by dropping jarax and hitting face with that last 3dmg.
Should rename this to.
"A list of the decks everyone will be spamming for the next few weeks"
aggro shaman -2 pirates rogue-4 pirates
really gamble to hard mulligans pirates to have good start or loses vs warrior.
shaman.still ok gpt dr 1 and dr2
I feel like every match up with reno lock is 50/50 based on whether you have reno by turn 6 or not.
I call BS. This deck is good against control decks (Priest, Renolock, Mage). I'm playing a very similar deck for days and the "no brain, hit face" warrior and shaman decks are by far the worst matchups with barely 50 % WR.
If you can get the early pirates out you can usually dramatically slow down a Pirate Warrior. Pirate Warrior relies often on using the weapon to hold the board and allow the minions to go face.
Killing off the pirate minions breaks his weapon buffing synergies and slows him down. He has no solid way to clear even a 6/6 Edwin which is pretty easy to get off early if you draw coins or prep.
Bloodmage Thalnos + Fan of Knives is an AoE and the only real AoE that rogue has to play with. But when you get down to it, the issues you have with Miracle Rogue countering the aggro decks, are the same reasons why it is a coin flip in general, the situational card draw.
nah, maybe pirate dragon warrior, but classic weapon based pirate warrior is the rogue natural predator.
u can beat them with big edwin or if they draw bad, but thats probably it, so its like 80/20 for warrior win.
shaman is ok matchup tho, coinflip at worst.
