SeatStory Cup VI Starts Tomorrow!

From December 15-18 starting at 13:00 CET (4am PST) your favorite Hearthstone players will once again make their way to Krefeld, Germany to gather in TaKe's Gaming Bar and fight for their share of a $20,000 prize pool as well as fame and glory!

As always, the well-known living-room atmosphere remains intact, and you can be part of the whole thing. SeatStory Cup VI will take place shortly before everyone heads off to celebrate Christmas so the TaKeTV team will celebrate a joint Christmas in advance. Brace yourselves for some Santa action, lots of presents, a world class line-up, holiday feelings and even more surprises!

Format

The tournament is divided into three stages. Each stage will be played in "Last Hero Standing" format with 1 ban.

  • Group Stage #1 (Round of 32): Dual Tournament.
    • Best-of-five.
    • The 4 players of each group are split into two pairs and play each other.
    • The winners of these matches will then face each other in the Winner’s match.
      • The victor places first in the group and advances to the Group Stage #2.
    • The losers of the initial matches face each other in the Loser’s match.
      • The loser places third and fourth in the group will be eliminated.
    • The loser of the Winner’s match and the winner of the Loser’s match will face each other in a fifth match.
      • The winner gets second place in the group and advances to the Group Stage #2.
      • The loser places third and fourth in the group will be eliminated.
  • Group Stage #2 (Round of 16): Dual Tournament.
    • The 4 players of each group in Round of 16 will face off similar to Round of 32.
  • Playoffs: Single-elimination
    • Best-of-seven.
