Deck Spotlight: Let's Play Miracle Rogue
Guukboi brings us an updated Miracle Rogue guide for Mean Streets of Gadgetzan! This new wave of Miracle introduces some pirates into the equation and gets rid of the old Questing Adventurer and Shadow Strike. The core mechanics are still the same though, this is Miracle Rogue of course!
- Gadgetzan Auctioneer is the soul of this deck. You'll use it to cycle through cheap spells.
- Counterfeit Coin is simply amazing. The potential with the auctioneer is too damn high!
- Small-Time Buccaneer is a new addition and described as a Flame Imp - you'll almost always have dagger turn 2.
- Pirate Warrior and Aggro Shaman are unfavourable matchups. Something to considered if you run into a lot of it.
The deck will set you back 8460 dust. Check it out below and be sure to learn more over on the dedicated guide.

lol, look at the name of the deck you linked, "msg red wyrm miracle rogue" and "red miracle rogue otk", hell yeah, totally new deck that works way different than the traditional using a buttload of cards in one turn and winning the game. There is a new deck thought, jade rogue, guess i just have to try it a lot more cuz i couldn't make it work yet.
OBS: Burgle and stealth are gimmics "fun" decks not to be mentioned in a conversation about competitive decks.
Lol, ok, I get it - the concept of miracle rogue hasn't changed. My suggestion is next time you see a post titled "Let's Play: Miracle Rogue", just pass it on by. Those of us who haven't "played it since beta" will continue to play it and feel like we won games because of the choices we made and effective awareness of RNG on our deck instead of playing curvestone decks that require minimal thought.
Even with that said, I do wish there were more Rogue decks on ladder, sure - I've been playing the Jade Golem Tempo Rogue that Kripp used on Day 1 of MSG (https://twitter.com/Kripparrian/status/804828332160385024) and it's been preeetty good and burgle-rogues that are fun, but to say that there aren't any other Rogue competitive decks isn't really fair. People are trying new things, it's unfortunate that none of them are taking off in the same way, but that really has more to do with the state of meta than with Miracle Rogue "being so dominant". If there were a deck that were Rogue, that was a curvestone "no-thought" easy to play deck, then that would be the best Rogue deck. I think it speaks highly that the best deck for the Rogue class is one that requires proper decision making and deck awareness to be piloted successfully... will that ever make Rogue top of the heap, though - probably not.
-"My suggestion is next time you see a post titled "Let's Play: Miracle Rogue", just pass it on by."
You are absolutly right buddy, next time i'll do this: "nothing to do here. (move away with a grumpy sad face)"
Do you think its hard ?
- rationally use super efficient removals (and ok minions) till turn 7,
- put Auctioneer,
- juggle free spells (draw everything you need),
- hide super buffed 4 health minions / put Malygos,
- OTK.
Its only harder than On-curve (MidHunt) or OP (MidSham).
Well if its your limit - pray for Auctioneer forever. No new strategy is needed.
It is strange that you can say "rationally use super efficient removals (and ok minions) till turn 7" like it is super easy. If you have played rogue (maly/miracle) against mid shama/hunter, aggro warrior, aggro pal in the previous exp (which are quite popular), you might know know hard it is for rogue to survive till turn 7. What you say is true, but your conclusion "Its only harder than On-curve (MidHunt) or OP (MidSham)." is just really strange.
Exactly the same impossible to lose against Control deck.
What do we have in total?
Easy win or easy concede - full relying on opponent archetype.
Difficult deck? - barely!
"(...) we all love." Yee... Love. Sure.
I don't get all these people wanting Gadgetzan Auctioneer to be nerfed because they're tired of Miracle Rogue and want a new Rogue deck to play. If Gadgetzan Auctioneer wasn't there the only viable Rogue deck would be Jade, and besides Jade the class would end up being worse than pre-MSG Priest or Shaman before LOE.
There's also a lot of people that enjoy playing Miracle Rogue...
It's also one of the few decks out there that takes skill (and we're having less and less of those)
There's also people using the argument ''it's been here since vanilla'' which makes no sense because; 1. It haven't been there since vanilla, it was dead from Leeroy nerf and until Tomb Pillager was introduced, 2. A LOT of decks has been here since Vanilla - Freeze Mage, Control Warrior and Zoolock just to name a few...
(Oh, and the direction Blizzard is heading with Rogue is ''Stealth Rogue'' and in my opinion that's REALLY boring) ;)
wtf
Would be great if other cards were viable in Miracle rogue... always the same thing (oh wait, coins...exciting!)
that's because rogue has the most overpowered classic cards which are basically a staple in any Rogue decks which is also the reason why we don't get any good new Rogue cards
Aren't you bored of this deck yet? I know I am.
Blizzard need to nerf again [card]Gadgetzan Auctioneer[/card] to make it trash and let other rogue decks see more play, i love rogue but i hate miracle... its not the same since the nerfs and its getting annoying that this deck is the only "viable" rogue deck.
"For every spell you cast, draw a card at the END of your turn"
There, fixed for miracle rogue and Jade druid
2. The deck isn't broken, so it's not very likely to be nerfed.
3. If it was nerfed the only deck we would see from Rogue would be Jade, if Rogue doesn't have Auctioneer or Jade cards then it would be worse than pre-MSG Priest or the pre-GvG Paladin...
Rogue is probably my favourite class to play, and I tire many things to make it work. Without Miracle what decks can we play?
Burgle? You might win some matches, but it's way too random (Getting 3 Totem health thingies or 3 Flame Elementals and it's way different and you know if you won or lost).
Mill? I salivate for the day it works, but for now, less than 33% winrate.
Pirate? Maybe ok, but Pirate Warrior is simply superior at the moment.
Stealth? Doesn't work, atleast not yet.
Aggro? Fails hard compared to Hunter, Shaman or Warrior.
N'Zoth? Alright but not amazingly competitive right now, even in Wild.
Jade? Worse than Shaman or Druid, no reason to play it.
Right now Miracle and Malygod decks are the one thing keeping Rogue competitive. Take Auctioneer away and it goes the way of Oil rogue.
replacement for patches? . i only don't have him , and i don't feel want to craft him
@HansenDragneel - HAHAHA :D
