Midrange Jade Lotus Shaman

Hydrox1de's Jade Lotus twist on Shaman has had our attention as the expansion arrived. It's proven to be quite a contender on the ladder and plays much like the Midrange Shaman of the previous meta but has some serious Golem flavor. Mmmm.. Golems.

The Jade Lotus is Ganging Up Rogue

This is quite a fun deck to play, but it may not be up to par with how fast some games are going. You'll want to tech in a Acidic Swamp Ooze if you are encountering heavy weapons, which is pretty much where we're at thanks to all these Pirate shenanigans atm.

Reno Lock yes its one way, but to beat this jade decks i think the best way its the new pirate decks

see i think this is bad design, you shouldn't have aggro or midrange as the only way to beat jade. slow control decks should be able to have a game vs other slow decks. but this jade mechanic has ruined that.

I want my fatigue control warrior/priest to be viable again!

edit: I own all the decks so this is not biased

I still miss light bomb to kill all those jade golem... They seem get bigger and bigger making it hard to kill it.

i guess its impossible to kill all those jade golems in the endgame. so maybe you should switch to a more aggressive deck if you face a lot of jade decks

funny how pure control priest finally gets good aoe in standard and then they add jade. its kind of a slap in the face.

if your playing the slow traditional control priest then your out of luck.

But what if a players favorite playstyle is to play a slow fatigue deck? do they not matter in the eyes of blizzard?

I'm really liking the idea of jade lotus control shaman. Jade mirrors pretty well come down to who can summon golems faster, so cards like hex and devolve are very useful vs jade rogue. Also easy access to taunts and board clears is very good vs pirates.

As much as I enjoy the concept of jade golems theyre just too slow. Its almost like you have to have a split deck of face and control to be successful and then have a good run of card draws

The Shaman jade cards slot nicely into an aggro/pirate variant. Usually they don't get any bigger than 3/3, but since they're coupled with face damage (lightning/claws) that's nothing to sneeze at.
