New Rogue Card Reveal: Shadow Sensei
A new card was revealed at a Fireside Gathering in Hong Kong. Thanks to /u/Muting46 for the tip!
Note: The name of this card may not be correct, but the effect should be good! We'll update when we learn more.

Finally a good Rogue Card this expansion.
It's sad seeing Rogues being forced into these stupid archetypes, when back in WotOG we got such awesome cards like Undercity Huckster, Shadowcaster or Blade of C'thun.
Uhhhh.... the 5/5 pandaren with a stealth that recharges everytime it kills someone?? or the new 2/3 rogue legendary you can play on turn 3 and then follow this card on turn 4?? stop being so pessimistic about the expansion when you dont even know all the cards...
until you realize that the legendary is hot garbage. Even if it hits its effect its still not even worth it.. I mean just wait for dragon fire potion then you'll sing a different toon about how these stealth minions having a chance.
A reasonable card. Now Stealth decks aren't really a thing but it's good enough for a more tempo-y approach to Rogue.
Also, beware of the Rogue curvestone of Stealth!
Shaku doesn't look so bad now does it? :)
Not at all. This is what I was hoping for. Play Shaku, the Collector into this guy and you've regained any tempo you lost, plus some random class cards.
It does what Rogue wants to do. "Sustain" their hand. Rogue Control is unlike other control because they don't physically draw cards from their decks, but instead, add cards (from outside the match) to their hand. Burgle, Swashburglar, Undercity Huckster, hell even Tomb Pillager... These cards are all about the Rogue "gaining" a card that's not from their deck, and it doesn't take it from the opponent's deck. They can keep a large hand AND a large deck.
The number of cards to worry about in any given game is 30, for the most part. Once all 30 cards have been played, you have nothing else to worry about. No more tricks or shenanigans that'll catch you off guard. But if you're playing against a Rogue, that player has Swashbugler, Undercity Huckster, Burgle, and Shaku as 7 cards to worry about. And sure, the 1/1, 2/2, 2/3, and tempo-loss are not something to worry about, BUT they are still there. And they replace themselves without interrupting the deck. So while there is 23 other cards to worry about in the deck & hand, there is now 9+ cards to worry about from those 7. I say 9+ because Shaku can potentially give you an infinite supply of cards. You could be running Conceal or the Toxin, or hell even Shadowstep to reuse her stealth. That's to assume the opponent can kill her, what if they don't run removal and they're a hard core smorc face deck? Keep their board clear and Shaku will RAIN HAVOC on them due to the consistent value you'll be getting.
Every turn Shaku lives is an entire extra resource that the opponent has to worry about.
Might not be bad as a curve play with silent knight? You can use backstab and such to keep tempo on the slow turn, then have two 4/4s and kill an enemy minion the next. Doubt it'll be competitive, but it'sa neat card with a cool if fairly simple effect.
Yeah. But the beast tag doesn't disappear after one attack.
The text says "Stealth minion" NOT "Stealthed minion"
I'm pretty much sure, it's the same thing. Like if you Conceal something, you can then buff it. Even if that was a neutral.
actually Virmen Sensei is still better because it can target beast and it is easier to do in a deck made for that than in a deck made for stealth at the moment. still has to wait if they add new stealth things later
Are you rogue whiners happy now?
No LOL
Happy about what? Slightly better dark iron dwarf?
should give priest give silenced minion 2/2
shaku just got buffed
