Reveal Post
Quote from BlizzardAh, excellent, you have received our message. We are the Jade Lotus, and most denizens of Gadgetzan think us criminals. We are so much more than mere thieves and assassins.Come, I will show you.
Jade Lotus
Most of our “family” is made up of pandaren, hozen, mantid, jinyu—even virmen—who came from the distant shores of Pandaria. We have found disciples here, teaching our ways to eager new students. We are Rogues, Druids, and Shaman. We own the shadows, we command ancient spirits, and we bend the forces of nature to our will. We involve ourselves in the petty conflict that divides this city only for as long as it will take to remove those who stand against us.In taverns, alleyways, and tea houses throughout Gadgetzan, the foolish whisper fearfully about the mysterious Jade Lotus. They say we lurk in every shadow. They speak of strange magic never seen before. They do not understand us because our motives are not like theirs. Our one purpose in this city has been to acquire jade for our leader. Not for wealth. No, our secret lies in how the magic within these stones can be drawn forth to create Jade Golems, powerful living statues that do our bidding. Many of us have been granted trinkets that can summon these warriors in the blink of an eye. More impressive, each Jade Golem we summon arrives more powerful than the last. Soon we will unleash them upon Gadgetzan and our enemies will know what it is to face a truly unrelenting foe.
Until then, they frighten each other with stories of our leader, saying things such as, “Hey, watch yer back, or White Eyes’ll jump outta da shadows and getcha” with that ridiculous accent. Nonetheless, the rumors surrounding White Eyes are surprisingly close to the truth. He is a powerful warrior—we know him to be as immovable as a mountain and as pitiless as a storm—but the taletellers are missing one important detail. A secret most of our family does not even know. He is not the leader of the Jade Lotus. He’s merely a figurehead, and the real power behind the Jade Lotus comes in a smaller—though no less dangerous—form. . . .
Deadly Bloom
Aya Blackpaw is the last living heir of the wealthy Blackpaw family. Using the Gadgetzan Museum of Ancient Artifacts as her headquarters, and shrouding her activities behind her family’s reputation as generous philanthropists, she issues orders to us through her loyal bodyguard and servant, White Eyes. She is the true leader of the Jade Lotus.Aya is youthful, energetic, and seemingly impulsive. That is a mask; in truth she is calculating, ruthless, and as hard as the jade we steal for her. Crucially, young Aya has the unique ability to create Jade Golems, and she is the source of the trinkets that so many of us carry. How she came by this incredible power is a mystery, though I swear I have seen her communing with the spirit of a Mogu king I could not name. Such a being must be most ancient indeed.
However it was that she came by her gift, Aya has successfully created an army of Jade Golems. What task she intends for them, and for us, is a mystery . . . but the Jade Lotus will be ready.
Fools and Fanatics
We were your shadow as you walked down filthy alleys with the aptly named Grimy Goons. We were listening as you endured the Kabal’s ceaseless, senseless babble. Now we reveal ourselves to offer you a place with the only current of true power running through this city.We are the Jade Lotus, and we are watching. When you return to your home, we have left a token—a gift—to remind you.
Shaded Streets
The battle for control of the city begins in early December, so we must make ready.A cunning tactician knows the battlefield, so the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan must become as familiar to you as your reflection. A wise warrior prepares, so you may wish to pre-purchase a bundle of Mean Streets of Gadgetzan cards. With our might added to yours, we will be unstoppable.
Know yourself, and your enemies, by seeing all the new Mean Streets of Gadgetzan cards as they’re revealed.

Aya + Brann + Shadowcaster + Shadowstep = #1 Legend! Hypehype
Yes because you already seen all cards for the new expansion, you should know. This tempo is so bad, you get 12-12 jade golems with it, right. Al least consider this option.
I really like the idea of spells and minions that are a bit overcosted but generate tokens that can get bigger and bigger.
I hope there will be enough cards to make a viable Jadegolem (lol) deck, it sound interesting. If the only way to generate enough Jadegolems (lol) to make up for the value/tempo less will be to include brewmasters and stuff like that, then rip.
Feels like you do not understand what "tempo" actually means.
Actually Rogue is all about tempo plays.
Druid gets to be a Monk! Shaman gets to be a Monk! Rogue gets to be a Monk! EVERYBODY GETS TO BE A MONK!
, every jade golem card spawns a new jade golem, so the first one will be a 1/1 the second a 2/2 and so on, if you entomb a 6/6 the shamman and druid will summon a 7/7 next time, this mechanic will probably not work in rogue.
Token generation is always scary in Druid
Small correction: Aya Blackpaw by herself is worth 8/6 of stats. Remember: The first golem is 1/1, the second is 2/2 so you can add +3/+3 to her stats. The fact that the stats are divided in three minions is also very good and finaly (of course) there will be even more Jade Golem cards in your deck so this will be very powerful.
p.s. You seem to think that there can only be one Jade Golem on the field and that other cards buff it. This is wrong. Each card will summon a new golem more powerful than the last one. Which means you can have a 1/1, a 2/2 and a 3/3 at the same time if you combo 3 Jade Golem cards in the same turn and so on.
If you just get a 1/1 and a 2/2 golem from aya it is shit, and you can't call it a fricking 8/6 because otherwise spirit claws won't fuck you over, of fire ele, or excavated, of dragonfire potion, or war axe, or almost any fricking card. This ain't gonna work.
That's misleading though. Technically a spell that summons Magma Rager and Amgam rager is 6/6 worth of stats, but would you play that spell for 5 mana? Hell, even for 3 mana? Probably not. Because the stats are horribly awkward. In this case, played solo, most of the stats are bound up in a creature that can be offed by a frostbolt.
This crap ain't gonna work until they buff it by a **** lot. Think about it. Coin shurkiken T 1, do some rogue things turn 2, turn 3 card + shuriken, spirit T 4, spirit T 5, legendary T 6. Turn 1 get a 1/1, useless, turn 2 do almost nothing, crap, turn 3 get a 2/2, SI is better, turn 4 get a 3/3, sounds like a slightly buffed mire keeper however it doesn't give you mana, T 5 get a 4/4 and a 2/3, just not good enough, turn 6, this is the point it might get good but you need the dream to make it work.
Here's the deal; the Jade Lotus cards (every one of them) haven't been revealed yet. We could get some crazy Jade Golem card that will replace fan of knives, lightning storm, or even swipe, so instead of jumping to conclusions, why don't we stay patient and wait for all the cards to be revealed before ragging on them?
Although I think the jade deck might not be strong enough I do really like the idea of the mechanic. No matter what draw you get in the late game as long as it has jade golem summon it is good which seems pretty cool.
I really want to know how many of these there will be as I really want to know if it could be possible to make a jade golem deck reliably in arena. You don't need late game. Just a ton of summon golem crap.
Crafting *Golden* Bran
The fact THIRTY cards were made with a typo in them just makes me totally certain there is no QA whatsoever at Blizzard.
Okay, let's say you f*ck up one card. Sure, happens. But the TWENTY NINE others ? I mean, maybe there's an intern, and you told them "Here, that's how you make a new card, now go copy paste that for the 29 others", and because that intern is underpaid, they decide to f*ck you over and copy that typo. Why not, this is still plausible.
Then you give it to your collegue, Fred, who does the whole reveal article thing. And Fred, making a neat animation with all of them, then uploading it, proof reading his article, simply does not care there's a typo. F*cking Fred, that's why he didn't get invited to your birthday.
Then you go up to the entirety of Team 5, to proudly show your work, and not one person gives a f*ck there are not one, but THIRTY typos in the reveal. And they can't be bothered to tell you, because you're the one at work everyone secretly hates, so they let it go through so you can then be blamed by everyone when the boss inevitably learns and throws a issy fit about it. And Ben Brode ain't happy about that. He'll record his laugh, for you, just you, loop it, and personally make sure you will hear it every second spent sitting at your desk at Blizzard for the rest of your career there. And you can't get away, because who the f*ck finds a job after they're fired from Blizzard Entertainment with the lead designer of one of their licenses saying you made thirty times the same typo when all you were asked to do was type "Jade Golem".
That is how much you done f*cked up.
I think they are too busy swimming in that heroic brawl money to pay attention to such minor typos. Kappa
The card text propably accesses the name-variable from a database. So it was just one typo that spread to several cards.
You know that writing a keyword seperately in every cards text is not how it works, rigth?
Not to say it shouldn't have been noticed at some point before releasing the cards, but claiming it's more than one mistake is plain stupid...
