why is this 2 mana?

This card is pretty strong. I am already scared of Priest.

If they print a 1 mana spell (potion) that reads "Deal 1 damage to all minions.  Restore 2 health to all your minions." this becomes playable?

It needs more synergy to be played in the current meta.  It's not a bad card but you need a way to reliably buff/proc it turn 3 for this to be worth a slot.  We ideally go from 4 to 5-6 cards in deck (doesn't need to be what I suggested) that build on this for it to be reliable itself.  Otherwise this is just a vanilla 2/3 in most games.

Well, this will not be played in current meta. 

This card is obviously nuts with Kabal Talonpriest.

If you are going first and they dont find a cheat yep. Miss your curve and its just a 2/3. Which is balanced so I am ok with it. 

I think this is a solid 2 drop. With PWS its comparable (slightly better) to Wurmrest Agent in durability, and the Agent often does live a few turns. If it lives, it gives the priest solid early game. If not, it has caused the opponent to burn resources to deal with it, so it trades evenly at the very least. Also, when the priests board consists of a Northshire Cleric and this, which one do you kill first ?

That is one way to look at it. Another way is that you will have 2/3 + 2/2 for total 4/5 for 2 mana instead of 2/1 + 3/4 for total 5/5. You will be wasting 1 mana not 2 on turn 3.

If you add up Northshire Cleric you will have 2/3 + 2/2 + 1/3 for total 5/8 and draw a card vs 2/1 + 3 + 3/4 for total of 5/8 if you play Kabal Talonpriest as your 3 drop.

In both cases it is worth. The 2nd case is the more easier value to attain. Having Mana Geode survive to be a constant threat is good value especially if you have a 0 mana hero power at some point.

well if you play dragon priest, that its the best priest deck for the moment, you can do T1[card]Twilight Whelp[/card] T2 Wyrmrest Agent T3Blackwing Technician so it will be 7/12, well u need luck allways for get these hand.

Calling it inspire card is misleading as it implies overhealing and different hero power will work. Any healing on this minion will summon a 2/2. As long Mana Geode is not full health you can keep getting a 2/2 minion.
