so this card is basically amore effective grim patron for priest
is this the red mana we were hyped for?
With all those priest cards revealed, can we finally bet on a meta slow down this time ?
I am looking at the new Jade Lotus cards and wonder why not make this a Jade Crystal that makes a Jade Golem every time it is healed?
Crystal METhAmphetapriest
Because Priest is not in the the Jade Lotus fan club of Shaman, Druid, and Rouge
Because priest is a Kabal class.
This card will basically be an auto include in the inevitable Reno Jackson+Kazakus deck, not to mention it will most likely be including in almost all priest decks. Not just because it is strong, but because priest desperately needs a good 2 drop other than Wyrmrest Agent. It combos extremely well with buff cards like Power Word: Shield and Kabal Talonpriest, but it is on its own a 2/3 which is a solid stat line and when you heal it with a hero power, its a yeti worth of stats. Extremely strong in arena, but it will be quite rare of course. Also Macblaze43 mentioned a fun little combo with it: Mana Geode + Wild Pyromancer + Northshire Cleric + spells. Throw in a Circle of Healing and you're in business. Complicated to set up, but fun and can be used in pieces. Probably not too strong but I'm gonna try it.
also could add Acolyte of Pain to the combo list
Why does it have to be epic by the way? This looks like it should be a rare at most. Don't get me wrong, I like the card
Good point.
Its pretty interesting that blizzard still uses the same "rarity" system for arena drafts as they do when opening packs. I would think that they could be mutually exclusive, but as you mentioned they tend to leverage the system to balance arena.
Comparing this to new rogue legendary Shaku, the Collector (stats, mana, class-wise effect) brings up some issues about card rarities
Card rarity has nothing to do with how good a card is.
It should however.
I'm f2p as well. Also wouldn't it make sense?
It can hardly survive, and a 2-2 doesn't worth combos.
