Heroic Tavern Brawl Limit Raised to 100
Quote from AvariusGreetings! We’d like to update you on a few things related to Heroic Tavern Brawl:
- First off, we’ve raised the limit on the number of Heroic Brawls you can complete from 5 to 100. We kept the cap in place initially to keep an eye on the Brawl to ensure things were working properly for participants.
- Second, we’ve also made it so that a match that results in a draw will no longer count as loss for both players. A draw will now count as neither a win nor a loss for both players.
- Lastly, to ensure that all players have enough time to finish their Heroic Brawl runs, all entries for Heroic Brawl must be purchased before the times listed below:
- Americas – Sunday 7:00 PM PST
- Europe – Sunday 10:00 PM CET
- Asia – Sunday 10:00 PM KST
- China – Sunday 10:00 PM CST
- All active Heroic Tavern Brawls can be played until the Tavern Brawl closes for the week at the regular times below:
- Americas – Monday 3:00 AM PST
- Europe – Monday 6:00 AM CET
- Asia – Monday 6:00 AM KST
- China – Monday 6:00 AM CST
If you plan on participating, make sure you purchase your Heroic Brawl entry before the cut-off times listed above, and complete your runs before the Tavern Brawl week ends. If you have additional questions regarding Heroic Brawl, please check out our blog!
Blizzard allowed to give them even more money!
Lol I haven't even reached the 5 brawls limit,
What possible incentive does Blizzard have to cater to the desires of strictly free-to-play players? "Do what I want, Blizzard, or I'll... continue not paying a single cent for your game!"
That's some real impressive leverage you got there, kids. It's like you called them up with ransom demands, but forgot to take any hostages.
You... I like You
i rather buy packs knowing exactly how much dust/cards im getting than trying my luck at this gimmicky money grabbing brawl. nice try
i rather save my gold for gadgetzan packs then try my luck on classic packs
old gods. 25 packs from brawl no legends im sick of em.
300 golden legendaries in a week? Thanks Blizzard.
What was unbalanced now has no limits. At the end of a year of play, a pro player will have more features than it is able to spend to complete even expansions that have not been designed yet. As for a beginner, he feels increasingly beyond the possibility of playing. Ordinary players will make a terrible effort to try to get close and will never feel capable. People with money left over will toast their money and fuel the gameplay with no sense at all and in the small hope of not staying out of it, we'll end up experimenting. I believe this mode is a mistake. Even though the rewards are a dream, they should not be so absurd.
Another thing, for me it makes no sense for a constructerd game mode to be called a Tavern Brawl, this should be a Heroic Standard Mode and not a Tavern Brawl. With similar rewards patterns, but monthly rewards for advanced players.
But the current designers are petulant to see it. I agree with creating an advanced mode, with inviting rewards and a price that seeks profit, but not this, not so. Even with such a negative mass, they never listen and do not go back, I will not expect it to be different now...
I don't think "pro" player, who works harder, should be limited to what ordinary player is limited to.
I agree with naming tho. It was not what I expected when I first entered it.
A ton of Tavern Brawls have been constructed, so I'm not sure what that complaint is about. Some give you a deck to play, some generate random decks for you to play, and some require you to build a custom deck. That's always been the case with Tavern Brawl.
Hm, for me, I was actually going to see how many steamers/high level players were going to play the Heroic Brawl right away and "waste" their 5 runs, then, at the end of the week, hopefully there'd be weaker competition since all the hard-core people already used up their 5 Brawls.
However, with the Brawl limit increased dramatically, it doesn't look like there will be a nice, maybe softer Brawl period at the end to try my own F2P decks....
Greedy. You're just too greedy Blizzard.
They're greedy for removing an artificial restriction which they imposed in the first place? What is wrong with you people?
Who does Blizzard think is going to spend 10,000 gold/$1,000 to play Heroic Tavern Brawl? O,o
because people are stupid
Somewhere in the code it checked the number of times the person has played against an integer, which they changed from 5 to 100. Much easier than rewriting the entire function to not check at all, but functionally the same given the time limit on the brawl existing.
Or they changed it using their super awesome control panel. That is, if they have one.
