Discuss the Brawl
Head on over to our dedicated discussion thread for this week's Brawl!
THANK YOU BLIZZARD! this is the best tavern brawl to date. I haven't stopped playing it since it started. Going to be sad to see it go.
Having an absolute blast with this deck :)
More luck than anything but I've not lost with it yet!!
one of the most unbalanced brawls out there
Dreadseed and Barnes = win
Magma and Ice rager now viable lol..
Why are people so hyped about Worgen OTK and Frothing OTK when you can have Dust Devil OTK?
Dust Devil
Earth Shock
Runic Egg
Duskboar
Explosive Sheep
Loot Hoarder
Novice Engineer
Magma Rager (or Ice Rager)
Emperor Cobra
Bloodlust
how is otk even a thing when you can have taunt at all times?
This is my brawl deck i haven't lost single game with, except first game where accidentaly i placed Yogg-Saron, Hope's End instead of C'Thun LUL. Mind Vision at t1 to see what type of deck you play against and to counter him with his own cards. All those two and three drops are so good for early pressure and/or for trades so you don't have to hero power pass like all regular priests do in 2016 (FeelsBadMan).C'Thun's Chosen on a taunt side preferably so they either have to trade two minions into him or to waste silence which is good so they don't silence C'Thun if they live long enough Kappa.Spellbreaker over Mass Dispel because you can silence minion and trade it at the same time.Cabal Shadow Priest for Dreadsteed or Imp Gang Boss or any other taunted up annoying 2 or 3 drop. For the end yolo charging C'Thun for easy win :) .
Dreadsteed ez!!
There are many ways to get around Dreadsteed, but there's one class that gets around it better than anyone.
Shadow Madness, Cabal Shadow Priest, Mass Dispel!
Z0MG PRIEST WINS IN 2016!!!
My deck for brawl, i dont have dreadsteed :D

Don't understand why Dreadsteed is appealing... (played 6 warlocks in a row this morning).
I understand lame-ass cheese brawl decks when they = quick wins for quests, but dreadsteed leads to the longest drawn out wins EVER. I had one warlock attacking my grim patrons for what felt like 20 minutes before, somehow, he roped out and then we both lost...
I think I got up and took a poo in the time it took him to attack my guys over and over and over and over ... the game said, EFF IT, let's call it a draw.
You say that and run Grim Patron witch is almost identical. The win card for Dreadsteed Lock is Knife Juggler because at minimum 1 in 8 knives hit the face and so you only need to run in 320 dreadsteeds into the opponents taunt Grim Patron or 40 times into the taunt Dreadsteed.
Actually if you attack the patrons till there are 7 of them
After this you attack all 7 down to 1 health
And there you go you killed the patrons
I made a quick Grim Patron BECAUSE of dreadsteed warlocks (see comment about facing 6 in a row). So now that you understand how countering decks work...
He had a juggler out. And it took him FOREVER to do anything about it. And it still ended in a draw.
So, back to my original post. What is the appeal? It's not creative. It's not fun. And it's not efficient gold accumulation.
I had made two very successful decks, one shaman and one hunter, without even looking at forums or anything (decks that I have yet to face myself) ... it was fun! Games are for fun. Winning because the other person auto-concedes or after attacking 320 times with a 1-1 minion ... is not fun.
So why? The mind of an average, modern gamer will always be a mystery to me.
Good point about the Grim Patron but one problem is then your Dreadsteed knives will end and you won't kill the hero that turn. The point of Dreadsteed Knife Juggler is that as soon as something unkillable comes out you have won 100% of the time, no need for silence or on summon cards.
And by including Knife Juggler you won't be stuck in an infinite loop that causes draw, instead you will win eventually.
To answer the question of why it is fun. It looks awesome the first time it happens to you, I did not see that Dreadsteed was infinite damage and taunt my first game and was interested in playing against impossible situations of 6 11/11 taunts on the board with my one Dreadsteed. It is fun a couple of times, after that it becomes the highest win rate deck, not the fastest winrate deck. Different people enjoy different things.
Mass Dispel
"You win, this time."
That was easy.
