"Seeing some feedback we're reanalyzing the data and realised that Purify decks are not working very well. It's too early to figure out for us but we think that this card would give Priest the final push that class needed."
Change the OR to an AND and they might be competitive ;)
And make it a common so Priest can draft it often for arena. :P
The fact that there are dragon synergy cards in Karazhan doesn't mean anything...check the Mech synergy cards that are still available now. They need to revive dead archtypes like mechs whi are lost since a year! Tell me any mech that you played the last year in standard
Piloted Shredder Kappa
I just came for the funnel cakes
I have no idea how they will incorporate dragon cards or synergies into this expansion, dragon decks will take a huge hit if this expansion doesnt help it because this might be the last big expansion before the rotation.
this IS the last expansion before the rotatas hit. BUt i don't think there's a reason to worry. The fact thatKarazhan introduced Dragon synergy cards tells me that thy aren#t going to let that archetype die yet.
Sure, it'll probably never be as popular or viable as it is now but i still think both book wyrm and netherspite historian are good enough to warrant a dragon themed deck if they just add a few more good dragons.
I mean, the biggest loss will be twilight guardian and Corruptor (and Nef if he's the only big dragon you got)
It's not like with mechs, where the bulk of their synergy was condesned in GVG. There's a lot of pwoerful dragons in the classic set. I'd say Dragons still have one rotation before they become obsolete
Uhm...
Maybe they're using the Calendar of Kezan? It could stretch back two thousand years.
I died at the Tuskarr Totemic nerf references.
As long as it is NOT a GvG randomonium mech revival, I'm quite hyped.
I also like these simple yet well polished teasers. Very much into the flavour side of the game.
considering how careful and in touch with the community they were in the last few months I doubt that they're just gonna be like "remember GVG? let's do that again! Does anyone know how to photoshop a moustache on Dr. Boom?"
this is the first big expansion since standard hit (not considering old gods since that was basically experimental at that time) so I think it's gonna be very interesting
Wild west/mob/desert theme sounds amazing. I think its gonna be a perfect chunk of lore, they cant do mega-sized themes every time or they will run out of content.
I think this is genius design lorewise, from what we've seen so far - take a small piece of WoW Lore and elaborate on it.
Instead of making pictures, they could make some BALANCE faster.
Because lately (let's say 2 months) surfing HS related resources is much more interesting than actually playing HS.
(C) tired priest player
Instead of bitching before you even know what you're bitching about, you could wait and see what they actually do next.
The people who make art have nothing to do with the balancing in the game
Go wild, go Priest, be happy and shut your trap
lol and if you've ever heard of compartmentalization, you would understand that they're in separate categories altogether. The people who design/commission the art work aren't taking the time to balance the cards. Also, doing proper balancing isn't something you want to do hastily. If you screw up a card, it can lead to more headache than the current situation. It's not always clear on how best to nerf a card. Sometimes you need MONTHS of data before you can even properly decide if that card is truly a problem, or just a source of whining due to it being a very good/strong card. Please take your scheduled chill pill with some humble juice and go to sleep ;-)
