OMG cheers gonna make Pavel's maly rogue
It has more to do with Secret Hunter not really playing with them. The first version in this meta only played one before the change and they finally cut them to none. The way the deck is played it should be over or be heavily in your favor to win by turn 8 regardless. The Call was deemed irrelevant since it was a "win more" situation. Putting more cards for the early stages is just seen as a better plan.
I guess Hamster got paid by Blizzard for bringing Paladin and Priest.

So,,, with the
horse race bettingcheering for pack thingy, after all the OOH-THIS-GUY-BRINGS-PRIEST hype,,,you guys are going to choose Hamster right? RIGHT? xD
I'm so excited, all 9 classes are participating in the finals!!!!!! :D
There are still a lot of yoggs in these decks, it wasn't nerfed enough, It should be 12 mana Kappa
11 of 16 players are asians WTF!!!
I find strange that people complain and whine all the day about Priest being the least used class but nobody gives a shit about Rogue and Paladin.
Because overall, Paladin and Rogue are still often more used than Priest in Tournament.
They are in a bad spot right now, not as bad as Priest, but still terrible and there is no reason to ignore it. Besides, Priest and Paladin have high tier decks in Wild at least, Rogue doesn't have a Tier 1 deck since the Miracle nerf.
So let me get this right every deck list is
midrange shaman
secret hunter
control warrior
malygos Druid
and zoo or tempo Mage
And then that mad bugger who seems just to be "happy to be here" that brought priest and paladin.
His priest deck is actually one of the best decks priest can make right now. The mirror and agro shaman were always the biggest issues with playing it. With few playing priest and aggro shaman extinct it's a pretty solid choice. The N'zoth Paladin on the other hand is very good and only got held back by all the aggro that started in the summer. Slower meta gives it a very good spot on a roster and honestly i'm surprised more aren't playing it. My guess would be they weren't familiar enough with it to be comfortable to play it at Blizzcon.
Look at the rest of the decks you can see they are each their own versions of the staple decks. In some cases they are very different and really could be called something else. It still sucks priest and paladin don;t have more players but it should be a good tournament.
There's also the factor that no other player is has teched their lineup to specifically counter control decks that aren't warrior. Not to mention that Nzoth Priest/Paladin do have positive matchups versus Control Warrior, which many players have chosen to bring. If these heavy control decks can simply go 1-1, then they've done their job and forced a game 7.
How does the group stage work? double elimination bracket and top two go on to 16 player single elim round?
Yes, except that there are 8 players advancing from group stage, right?
Yes, 10/26 will be the 1st match of every group, 10/27 the 2nd, 10/28 the winners (the winner here will go to blizzcon, 11/4), 10/29 the loosers and 10/30 the winner of loosers vs the looser of winners (the winner here will go to blizzcon too).
On 11/04, at Blizzcon, will be the quarterfinals and semi-finals (single elimination), and 11/05 the 3th place decision and the great final
Malygos vs Everybody.
I know, right? How DARE these players who have a lot of money and future Hearthstone career on the line NOT use sub optimal snowflake experimental decks?! How DARE they bring the best and most optimal decks to this grand Blizzcon finale!? How DARE they not risk all the time and hard work by not playing decks like taunt warrior or dragon paladin or aggro priest!? SHAME ON THEM!!!
Your profile picture fits you perfectly, edgelord.
Let's see if the asians will be able to win this time. Right now, America (Firebat) and Europe (Ostkaka) have won. Guess this time they will as they are pretty strong this year
