Update: A previous version of this article stated the deck used no neutral cards. This was accurate when the article was originally written but is no longer the case with Barnes being added.
Deck Spotlight: Spark's Beast Master Hunter
Today, Spark brings us his Beast Master Hunter deck which takes his Beasty Tactics deck into a new light. The deck was piloted to Legend this season and might help you do the same!
- The amount of beasts in this deck is too damn high!
- Tracking, Fiery Bat, Kindly Grandmother and King's Elekk are all great keepers.
- Keep the board controlled early on making valuable exchanges.
- Follow up with pressure through Savannah Highmane, Tundra Rhino synergies and Call of the Wild.
The deck can be had for as high as 1740 dust, so it's quite accessible to all players. Check out the deck below and head on over to the deck guide to learn more.

Gameplay
Spark also has gameplay available against Zoolock and Control Warrior.
I just wanted to say that while hunter is my 3rd least favorite hero class and I'm not really that big on netdecking. I absolutely loved playing this deck, It ended up being a very flexible aggro deck that requires some strategy to actually pull off wins. I just finished an 11-2 run through ranked with this recipe. Keep making good decks man you're a genius!
Those hating on Spark's obviously haven't used one of the countless innovative decks and guides he's published. Dude produces solid deck lists every - damn - season.
Respect.
Guys.. call of the wild is extremely useful... haven't you read the card description...?
for some reason i thought it would contain Ram Wrangler
No real spot for it, the double Tundra Rhino tech is much stronger and consistent. Ram Wrangler is kind of a "win-more" card that doesn't help recover from behind. It could still be viable in this Deck though, but there are just better options imo ;)
The double Savannah Highmane is a great idea! So simple and yet so powerful. This Spark guy sure is a deck creation genius.
You should really take a look to call of the wild! I've never seen it in 2x in a deck, that's crazy! I don't really know if it will work though...
Even if Shamen is the number 1, Huter is close behind.
yah huter really is a great class...
Wow midrange hunter!I haven't seen this deck before!Holy shit dude it's so gimmicky but somehow works!Gj on creating this original deck!
One question though,is it Call of the Wild worth it?I haven't seen any other hunter deck use it :/
Just because Face Hunters want to win before turn 8.
Every Midrange Hunter deck use Call of the Wild I personally use two of them in my Midrange Hunter deck. So yes,it's absolutely worth every piece of dust.
So you posted a midrange hunter list. Thank you now i feel better
I'm sorry to come here again but I just wanted to try and stop the polemic and do the work for all the people that don't quite understand the historic here. I know I shouldn't put more mental investment into those childish and useless talks but I don't like unfairness and free nastiness. I'll try to learn and ignore this with time ...
Anyway, here it is :
This Deck created during S30 is a straight update from this Deck also created in S30.
Which is a straight update from this Deck created in S25 with Old Gods release.
Itself being an update from this Deck created in S20 with League of Explorers.
Which has been updated from this Deck created in S19 with The Grand Tournament.
Which is a straight update from this Deck created in S13 with Blackrock Mountain.
Itself being an update of this Deck created in S11 after the Undertaker nerf.
Which has been updated from this Deck created in S6 after the Starving Buzzard nerf.
Which is a straight update from this Deck created in S6 with Naxxramas.
Which has emerged from this Deck created in S4 with the Classic set.
Itself coming from the first few Beast Hunter I played on Hearthstone before starting to post some guides here.
Now, accuse me of copying, vomit all your meaningful words at me, hate me, hate my Decks, shit on me ... But please respect this website and remember what it is originally about !
All those posts share one thing in common : a solid guide to go along with the Deck ! And that's the only reason why this Deck is spotlighted today.
Dislike if you want but please respect the time I invested into those, because this is more about the content than the Decks ...
Best regards and good luck on the game !
Bam! Show them whos the boss, Sparkaz!
Somebody have something on the stove? I think I smell the burning
I'll go get the aloe for that burn.
Anyways, I really don't get everyone's problem with this deck. Looks really cool, and he even has a really in-depth guide for the deck.
Actually Sparkaz, you kinda shoe-horned yourself on this one.
This is what happens when you CREATE A NEW DECK, as opposed to just continually updating a deck. If you had kept the deck listed here: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/81065-spark-beasty-tactics-s4 and just continually updated it, there would be no debate about when you created the deck. It would clearly show it. And you would probably have the largest upvotes on a deck in the history of the site if you had. Instead, you've chosen to pander to easy upvotes by creating a new deck every couple of seasons so that way it shows up as "new". Them's the breaks.
Anyhow, just wanted to point something out with the word you used to portray yourself as a victim (polemic) :
I.E. Not Hearthstone topics, considering that the topics here do not in any way, shape, or form have any major impact like religion, philosophy, politics, or science. :)
Lastly, if your only recourse is to insult those who don't agree with your deck, that kind of goes against the rules of the site doesn't it? (Calling people childish just because they don't like your deck is rather juvenile, wouldn't you agree?)
If I simply edit a Midrange Hunter from Season 1 to Season 30, the guide would be so messed up ! You would be losing all the interest of the post by doing so because people can't tell which part is for current variant or older one ...
In fact, I already did that on the S25 Deck and it ended up being messy, with many people asking questions about card choices because it just confused them. So I can safely say that it is better to do it this way (at least for me, who just want to have some good talks on the archetype I like with people interested in it).
Common misconception of people flooding the news comment on this site ... I don't care about those "easy upvotes" and stuff like that, I just want to share my constructed thoughts about an archetype that I like every time I feel like it is appropriate (approximately every expansion).
I didn't insulted everyone. I didn't called anyone childish but was talking about the debate about who is the Deck property (which is a debate that I find childish, because it's kinda irrelevant in Hearthstone since everyone use their experience with the game to chose/create their Decks).
I don't see people disagree with the Deck, just people bragging about how Midrange Hunter is so standard. In fact, I can understand that it bores them if they feel like it's too standard, why not just ignore it then ? I don't know, when something doesn't interest me, I just pass my way and use my time for other topics.
Anyway, thanks for precisions on the term "polemic". Note that it says "are usually adressed to ..." not "are only adressed to ..." by the way. But fine, use another term if you want, you got what I was trying to say by "polemic".
This is exactly what i said albeit shorter! ignore the trolls bro in the almighty words of taylor swift! haters gonna hate hate hate!
Good deck against most decks, but pretty bad against aggro shaman.
