Wow, what a great picture they picked of HotMEOWTH :P
ikr it looks like hes asleep xD
props to these guys for their winnings and decks.
Praise YOGG lol
Side Note: A little outdoor Recreation wouldn't kill them..
Even though there may be a lot of RNG the tournaments can sometimes be interesting to watch. I just personally hope that by 2018 when Yogg is gone out of standard, tournaments may be more fair and less RNG, and hopefully the 5 sets that come out don't continues to ruin tournament play in standard.
If a player can confidently go into a tournament with ANY CLASS rather than just a few good ones (cough cough shaman and warrior) that everyone else is also playing, then that is when we will know tournaments in hearthstone will have been mostly revived. (You can never fix the times you just get screwed from the worst card draws possible... :P)
I'm so tired of this no name players "E-sports" tournaments wining based on RNG and SMOrc skills!! zero viewers watch that to learn something of it!!! just 24 k trolls making jokes about those unknow guys with no social life that just put a lot of hours climb the cancer ladder!
These were so intense to watch & some were so very close! Congrats to HotMEOWTH for winning the entire competition!!! =D
it requires skill but it requires more rng
Everyone who understands game mechanics on a higher level have almost at least 50% chance to win every match, even against the so called "best" players.
Even if you manage to achieve a 55% winrate against everyone else (which would be an incredible achievement), it's still almost a coinflip for every single round, leaving you with only a small percentage chance to be the final victor.
I'm not saying individual plays don't have an impact, they do, but mostly on ladder, in tournament enviroment they basically have no significance in the final results. Just look at Thijs, the current champion in his recent performance. Got eliminated by a double 3-0. Skill is so insignificant that even the so called "best player in the world" can not win a single game in a tournament.
Or you know guys, just look at Yogg, and tell me that this rng fiesta is competitive.
Yoggdamnit , that'a A LOT of yoggs right there!
damn....25k wing wangs
why no rogue? thought it was good
and i watched this tournament fucking yogg took over lol
No, it´s not, actually with the priest, they are in the botton
Such diversity.
shaman druid warrior.
Don't forget paladin and hunter and warlock and mage.
He was saying each player brought shaman, druid, and warrior. There were also a lot of hunters and mages, but only half (4) brought warlock and 2 brought paladin.
Still, the classes listed had a decent representation in a tournament where you're trying to win so you want to bring the very best decks, even if they're only the best by 1-2%
Anduin was entombed and Valeera is concealed. Like every other tournament and ranked season.
