HearthPwn Card Design Competition - Perpetual Commotion Finalist Voting
It's that time again - time to vote for a winner in our weekly card design competition!
This week's competition theme was "Perpetual Commotion" and had one rule.
- Your card must be a Spell with an effect that is permanent, continuous, persistent, or perpetual. Indeed, before we decided to come up with a fancy name, we were just going to call this competition "Permanent Spells". What counts as a permanent effect? Good question! After all, Arcane Intellect could be said to permanently thin your deck, and Blessing of Kings could be said to provide a permanent buff to a minion as long as it doesn't die. Those are not the sort of effects we're looking for, however, as by those standards almost any spell could be said to be "permanent" in some way. Rather, for this competition, permanence refers to a continued, indefinitely repeating effect on game events moving forward as a whole, not just on an initial target or as a byproduct of an instantaneous benefit.
- An example could be Shadowform, which permanently alters the function of your Hero Power, or The Mistcaller, which gives a bonus to each and every minion you draw from your deck for the remainder of the game (although, as a minion itself, it would not qualify for this competition).
200 valid entries have been whittled down to 20 of the community's favourites and now we need the community's help yet again to determine who will win. You can find all of this week's entries and the poll over on our Finalist Voting Thread.

Call of the elements,if the hero power actualy overloads then it would be balanced. But if not, completly overpowered
and even then, evolve every turn is exetremly OP
My top three would be:
Special mention to 'Expert Training' though, it needs to cost more seen as Justicar Trueheart is 6 mana, but would like to see a card similar to this.
1. Call to the elements
2. Grand Fissure
3. The art of Burglary
Just imo
Ultimate confusion and Theory of everyfin are both funny to play. Mention to the name of theory of everyfin who is funny :)
The one I would like to see implemented is: "Power word: eternity." It might be a real card and very interesting for the resurrect priest.
Nice cards! Here is my top3:
1) Ice Age
2) Promise of Power
3) Ultimate Confusion
hate to be a stinker, but wouldn't Ice age only affect charge minions?
freeze stops a minions next attack. minions can only attack the turn after they are played without charge, so it will stop that attack
Kinda disappointed Surrender to Madness didn't make it. It wasn't a super flavorful card, but it fit the theme and was accurate to what the spell does in WoW.
"Employment" doesn't make any sense lol
I'm not even surprised after Dr broom anymore.
what does "1/1 silver hand minion" mean?
How would reno work with blood armor? Would you gain 30 health?
Perhaps you would gain X armor, where X is 30 minus your current health.
This would be similar to how Jeeves works: if you have less than 3 cards in hand, Jeeves draws X cards, where X is 3 minus the number of cards you have in hand.
It depends on whether Reno "restores health to your hero until he/she is at full health" (more like Jeeves) or "restores 30 health" (more like the above).
If you have 10 health, Reno restores 20 health. If you have 20, Reno restores 10
I was thinking that it would interact the same way reno does with auchenai. When you have auchenai on the board and play reno you take 30 damage no matter how much health you have.
Last one seems hilarious Theory of Everyfin and Soul Bind seems good. I choose Theory of Everyfin.
