Hearthstone Hotfixes - Brawl, Abomination in Karazhan, Faceless Manipulator
A round of hotfixes have made their way to the Hearthstone servers including a fix for buggy AI that prevented bosses from attacking with Abomination in play.
Quote from DaxxarriThe following issues have been resolved for PC and Mac:
- Addressed an issue that would prevent the Discover mechanic from working in the Tavern Brawl Captain Blackheart’s Treasure when transformed into Ragnaros.
- Addressed an issue that would prevent Faceless Manipulator from properly copying Moat Lurker’s Deathrattle effect.
- Addressed an issue that would prevent Silverware Golem from activating properly when discarded during the Romulo and Julianne encounter in One Night in Karazhan.
- Addressed an issue that would prevent several bosses in One Night in Karazhan from attacking when Abomination is played.
I'm so happy Abomination got fixed, there is little challenge even without the bug but at least it doesn't feel as cheap as walking into a bug. I will be replaying Silverware because of this :)
Hello!
Blizzard tooks a few days to fix those bugs, but in the bugged quests, take more than a week! nice played.
Heroic should require a personnal thinking, and twaking to a solution, that could be done by most players ont heir own providign they have a decent collection. Any moron netdecking for heroics then crying that it was too easy is the same kind of scummy waste that fetches "walkthroughs" on single player game then goes complaining the games are too easy.
How is the weather up on that highhorse?
Were you banging your head on your keyboard for the first sentence? It kinda looks that way.
I actually agree. If you looked up a walk-through for it, it wasn't easy. I actually do think that Karazahn was easier on heroic for several of the bosses. I was able to beat 2-3 of them after 2-3 tries, but that could also be because my collection is significantly better then it was 6 months ago, and I was able to recognize winning mechanics against a boss and actually have the tools to try it out. Either way I found it incredibly fun. Silverware Golem was quite difficult for me at least and the chess game was absolutely fantastic and very fun.
One I realized abomination was bugged, I stopped using it for heroics. I still won first try on heroic this wingwith constructed decks for ladder. Only for ill hoof did I use a a specially made deck, and there I did nothing but fill it with non abomination taunts and won first try with that deck.
They seriusly need to up the power level of the heroic bosses, since naxx they have just become easier and easier to beat... It's actually sad to see heroic bosses miss lethal.
I can understand that the normal ones would be easy just so that people can get their cards, but the heroic bosses are so easy that a rank 25 almost would be more challenging to play against...
I only beat the bosses thanks to the abomination bug. I think the big bad wolf, Julianne and Curator are just fine in heroic
Could your collection have improved since Nax? I feel like they are easier, but because I have more tools to deal with them.
Really? Because I one shot Julianne (heroic and not) with just some shitty zoolock i threw together myself to get warlock wins for a quest. Didn't have to make a single Change. I played some old shitty tempo mage i had lying around from the dark ages of pre-standard to beat curator on both heroic and normal first try. The big bad wolf obviously needed me to make a deck but it took like 2 try's with the first deck i threw together in heroic once i figured out he started with the 3 grandmothers.
Don't have the cards for tempo mage or zoolock. Used the same c'thun priest I used to get to rank 10 on normal, and had to build several iterations of custom decks to beat heroic. Perhaps your playstsyle and decks just counter them better.
When did you start playing Hearthstone? (no judgement involved just curious)
Honestly you can throw a tempo-ish mage deck together with a lot of replacements and the idea remains the same. there's only two (possibly) irreplaceable cards (that aren't basic or cheap to craft) in the tempo mage and that would be BRM's Flamewaker. even then you could probably just come up with something similar enough to work. not sure what the best replacement for ol Flamewaker would be though.
I started playing hearthstone during the release of League of Explorers. I have also spent quite a bit of money, although i've gained a little bit of fame for managing to draw 3 legendaries in 150 packs (not on this forum)
Basically, I bought a lot of packs, bu I'm still lacking most epic and pretty much all legendaries.
And I have a decent value mage sitting around. Thing is I'm just bad at mage. I do best with warlock, paladin, rogue and priest, but since mill rogue is dead and warlock only plays zoo these days, I don't use these two that often other than some blade of c'thun madness from time to time.
this AI so easy.
I beat all Heroics on first attempt. Never happen before in history of my HS
I'm calling BS on this one. Make a video beating all of them in a row. Bad RNG on a good deck would make you lose at least once. That or you should start playing pro because your luck is amazing.
Not with these ones generally. The only ones i could see you actually losing to bad luck with a good deck are the crone, MAYBE chess, and MAYBE nightbane...but even then I One shot all of them too save for heroic chess (which i lost the first time because it doesn't tell you about your decreased deck size until its already kind of too late if you weren't super efficient with your pieces, which i wasn't so i lost due to my own stupidity and lack of knowledge as opposed to bad luck and the actual bosses challenge), heroic Wolfy because i didn't know he started with the three wolfs, (in which i beat the next try with like a single tweak).
I mean i've played the game for a long time so i do know what im doing, but the only way you lose it by lack of knowledge about the boss. and even then you can still beat them because they are so weak that sometimes they won't even live up to that special moment of theirs.
