Lols, I'm apparently ranked 11th in EU, but that's not me XD
Let's hope he/she moves up to the top five.
Should update the notes to include the last couple of changes they added.
Curious how many of those top 100 were playing rogue decks, and how many of them will be able to maintain that kind of a rank with the minimal nerfs rogue took.
A lot of the changes are very well thought out in my opinion, I'm not going to go into detail for every card, but I think this will balance the overall strength and "tier" of the Heroes to be more equal.
Rogue appears to not be hit hard, but the loss of being able to clear a 2 Health Minion in the early game is huge.
But most significant I think is the Priest, Power Word: Shield and Death are SOO overpowered.. But Priest really needed something for the early game.
Warrior's slight buffs are good I think, they didn't overdo it and managed to round out the class a little better in my opinion.
Decent stuff, wondering when the next wave will go out.
I agree with the changes for the most part, but I'm definitely surprised...I thought there would be slightly more drastic changes :x Maybe they didn't need to be drastic though.
Biggest surprise: Gadgetzan Auctioneer untounched.
Almost Biggest Surprise: Shadow Word: Death is like...so OP.
This is the best fix.
Well, sw:d is op, no doubt about that, 3 mana for practically assassinate. ok..
Battle rage buff was very well tuned and needed, and commanding might see some play now. But they fixed warriors a bit, They did't touch weapons which was good.
Twilight drake nerf was very warranted but I think it will have most ppl drop it, 4/x for 4 when you can get a safe 4/4 or better for 4. In arena it might ofc be picked but wont see any more stall play to make a big drake, which is good for the game.
Greenskin will see next to no play I'll imagine. Frostwolf warlord the same maybe not as bad, still fits well in a token deck but yeah.
Rogues got hit pretty hard, specially the hero power nerf is pretty huge, it's now a inferior mage hero power. Yes they needed a nerf but I think messing with the hero power was the wrong way.
If I understood the savagery nerf correct it will be dropped like a hot potato in most decks.
Nice hunters mark buff, hunters needed a tiny bit of a buff and this card saw little to no play so.
The healing stream nerf did't make a lot of sense to me, shamans wasn't op and ht was their only class related heal.
Sure I missed something to comment on but that was the main points I got from the patch.
oh nerf rogues? wtf they barely touched them nerf hard to druids i didn't expet it oO seems most spell powah droods will roll rogues yay for fix...
love change on priest warrior meh they could give us more.
Why should there be less rogues?
The most played high ranking Rogue deck is more or less untouched. You still can chain your abilities to oblivion.
Of course he has a bit less board control (no more buffing to weapons with hero power) early game. But still, after turn 5, everything is business as usual.
Looking forward to priest changes. Makes playing a control priest much more enjoyable (maybe too enjoyable).
Warrior, well the basic problem is still there.
Glad they nerfed "all out spellpower on hero"-druids. Hiding behind Taunts and spamming your hero to death was not fun.
I don't think Warrior fixes will do enough. Still have too much reliance on weapons for removal and not enough ways to gain armor. Priests might of just became OP. Druid Nerfs are fine. Rogue nerfs are manageable but not enough to destroy miracle rogues. Capt Greenskin nerfed but Gadzetzan left alone is crazy. Savagery is now identical to shield slam. Warrior needs Heroic Strike to give Armor.
All in All very disappointed. Miracle Rogues are basically untouched and Warrior buffs are a joke.
The change I like most is:
Not bad. Looking at the priest changes though, I hope they didn;t overdo it :S
omg yes :D this is awsome
Kek are you
I have to say, surprisingly I am in agreement with 99% of these changes. Hopefully now 80% of my opponents won't be Rogues!
