The Malchezaar's Imp was obviously made to give the discard effect cards and their support some love, which to say the least, don't see much play these days.

there are definitely some good tools (such as soulfire, tiny knight of evil, fist of jaraxxas, doomguard, darkshire librarian)

I think this card will push it over the edge of viability.

I think unless there's one or two more discard mitigation cards, it will push it to the edge of gimmick tier 4 viability but no more than that. 

succubus?

Succubus is just kinda bad. Even though 4/3 is good, its not broken. So unless you plan on drawing and playing turn on imp into succubus it isn't worth in my opinion.

I think those are both amazing. Even if it's a random spell, Babbling Book replaces itself for only 1 mana, which is INSANE value. And as for Malchezaar's Imp... Darkshire Librarian anyone? Those 2 will become a staple of Handlock.

Babbling Book - good one drop for Arena. It looks powerful, but Mana Wyrm is staple and more powerful. The Imp is "meh..." at best.
