Upcoming Adventure Theme Leaked?
Thanks to Chinese gaming media, we've got an idea of which adventure we're going to be seeing next from the Hearthstone team. It was revealed that the next theme will be a World of Warcraft raid that contains 3 Chinese characters.
This comes to us from a post on Tieba, the author previously leaked the Morgl hero before he was released so this has some weight to it.
Thanks to /u/czhihong on reddit for compiling a correct list of raids that are 3 Chinese characters in length. They are:
- 卡拉赞 Karazhan
- 奥杜尔 Ulduar
- 永春台 Terrace of Endless Spring
- 悬槌堡 Highmaul
It should be noted though that both Highmaul and Terrace of Endless Spring have very few bosses within them (7 and 4 respectively) and don't make very good candidates for an adventure unless they pull another Blackrock Mountain where they use a collection of entities in an area.
So that leaves both Karazhan and Ulduar, which are two raids which people always fall back on as being the best of experiences. They also have 11 and 14 bosses respectively which is the perfect amount for a 4 or 5 wing adventure.
I honestly think there's still a good chance for the expansion to be ulduar. I know yogg already showed up in WotOG but we could probably have something like majordomo with Sara being the final legendary and yogg being a hero replacement or something. I'd actually be pretty hyped for a yogg hero ( I'd imagine the hero power would be something like discover a spell or add a random spell to your hand, it costs [0]). In fact, better than a yogg hero, if the developers implemented the idea they initially had with nzoth (hero power replaced with something stronger at the start of the game, start out with only 15 health) that would be awesome.
Also, I don't play wow, so could someone clarify whether Kharazan has a final boss? By my understanding the final boss is debatable and the guy commonly acknowledged as the final boss seems kinda unimportant or undeveloped.
Karazahn pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.
I hope it will be Adventures of Business Cat.
People who are hoping for a new class, brace yourself for disappointment. That isn't going to happen for a while, if ever.
Probably going to be Karazhan. I never played WOW, but from what I've heard most of the others fall more into the zones filled by other previous expansions, especially Ulduar.
Am i the only one, who wanted to see the war between undeads and worgens as a theme for the adventure? I mean the war that was told during the undeads' quests.
Time to save up gold! Predicting Karazhan adventure announcement in August and release in September
Doubt it. September seems a little to late, considering that adventures release one wing a week. I think it will be announced in July and released over the month of August.
But I agree with you on it being Karazhan.
Time to grab the credit card.
It's Karazhan. Ulduar's NEVER going to happen, now that Whispers is a thing, and the other two are too short for their own adventures.
I'll bite. Why would one of the most popular and well loved raids in all of WoW, which the Dev team themselves have said they are interested in doing. NEVER be an adventure because of OG?
It will be cool if blizzard makes a Ice Crown Citadel adventure, the fnal boss will be the Lich King and when you beat him you get Arthas as the new hero and class: The Death Kinght that can be super cool.
today on things that will never happen
NEVERMIND
i swear i read somewhere where ben brode said that we were gonna get a bunch more demon related cards so which one of these two raid areas has more demons?
It's probably Karazhan
Next addon Karazhan... Why? Its first raid in Burning Crusade
will black rock mountain leave standart whenthe new adventure comes?
no, brm tgt and loe leaves when the first expantion of the next yer releases ( when the kraken ends)
It may not happen with this next adventure, but I think it would be cool to have a troll-themed adventure: Zul'Farrak, Zul'Gurub, Zul'Aman, Zul'Drak, and Gundrak would make for an epic adventure, especially the pre-cataclysm versions. Even staying vanilla, Zul'Farrak, Jintha'Alor, Zul'Mashar, and Zul'Gurub were woven together in an epic quest string. MORE TROLLS!!!
I can't believe I left out the Temple of Atal'Hakkar (Sunken Temple) when talking about vanilla trolls. Would definitely be a worthy inclusion.
