Game Mode ID Coming to Hearthstone - New In-Game Player Name Emblems!

A new feature is coming to Hearthstone in an upcoming patch called, at least internally, Game Mode ID.

Game Mode ID shows an icon beside your name, much like the rank emblems you see on the ladder today, but are specific to each game mode. Arena, Tavern Brawl, Adventures, and Casual will all be getting unique icons, and some will have extra functionality.

Arena icon displays your current win count and below it, you can see how many losses you have on the current run.
Tavern Brawl icon lets you mouseover it to view the rules of the current brawl.
Adventure icon uses an icon from the adventure. No functionality was described.
Casual icons look pretty.

Why didn't they include your current stars in ranked? I sometimes wonder which star I am as I spend little time in the menu. Even it could be useful to know if yo are in a streak wins or not.

i would really like custom player icons in casual, just like in overwatch or heroes of the storm, that you can achieve icons which you can equip to your profile or even to your deck :)

Seeing opponent's win-loss progress isn't too interesting because of the matchmaking system.

It could be super fun to see friends' progress in spectator mode. EleGiggle

It would be cool to allow us to show our highest rank of all time, not just the current one.

I really want to use other cardbacks than Legend, but it's the only way to show your "achievement" right now.

And for the love of God add some new quests.

actually interesting ones

like:

kill your opponent with a wisp (100 gold)

Find the Golden monkey ( 50 gold)

win a game with each class (250 gold)

win 3 games after turn 10 (70 gold)

play 15 legendary minions (50 gold)

trigger an inspire effect 40 times (tgt pack)

kill your opponent with C'thun twice (WotOG pack)

I came up with all of these in two minutes, I know you can do better blizzard.

I think this would work better as an achievments. Or something like this.

Yes I would love that! But maybe as achievments and not quests. Not everyone has Elise. But I would love this as the ame can easily have some boring periods. But if they were to add some interesting achievments that woulde be wonderful. I would love to see some really hard achievements too so people really have to try. Would be fun if we had a new solo adventure ting with some kind of achievements you have to do but I am not sure how that would work.

new quests would be nice also because the current ones kinda suck.

Totally like these ideas!
Even though some might make me completely mad...killing someone with a wisp for example xD

And I want an achievement tab ingame, which shows at least what I already achieved. My not achieved things can stay hidden..

I think mainly the each class and 3 games after turn 10 quests would work, the others are bad for new players.
