Deck Spotlight: N'Zoth Dragon Paladin
Tonight, Spark brings us his flavor of the N'Zoth Dragon Paladin deck which aims to control the board and deliver a beating through devastating dragons. It is quite a pricy deck though at 10880 dust, so wallet beware!
- Sir, we've lost him! - Clear the board through Paladin powerhouses Equality and Consecration. Don't forget the unvalidated Doomsayer too!
- Drop Dat Dragon - The core synergy of your deck, these will make up your midgame.
- Rattle the Cages - Sylvanas Windrunner, Tirion Fordring, and Chillmaw are your Deathrattle minions for N'Zoth. Super. Value.
Head on over to the deck guide to learn more! If you're interested in some of Spark's other decks, you should check out his 8 Competitive Standard Lists thread!

Which Gamemode are you Primarily Playing?
It's been just over a month since the Whispers of the Old Gods have been heard and we're wondering what the audience here is focusing their efforts on. So to find out, we ask what gamemode you're primarily playing.
Feel free to let us know in the comments why you're playing a certain gamemode over the others.
The Angry Chicken #154 w/ TerrenceM
This week on The Angry Chicken, the crew had TerrenceM on to discuss how he started playing games on a pro level, DreamHack Austin, Old Gods, formats, and much more. Don't worry, the regular crew still talked about their usual crazy game stories, and your emails.
Watch episode #154 of The Angry Chicken below! You can find previous episodes over on their YouTube channel and you can give the cast a follow over on @TACPodcast on Twitter.
Don't forget Garrett, Jocelyn, and Dills will all be doing a live recording of The Angry Chicken at CreateCon in Orlando, Florida on July 30th. For tickets and information check out CreateConvention.net.
the game
i just don't get the appeal of arena and how some can play it primarily.
100% Standard. I play Brawl if I need the pack or the quest gold. I'd play Arena, but I'm too excited about opening packs with my gold and playing more Standard!
Haven't even tried Wild. Mostly Standard and Arena with TB while it's available and depending on which one.
I played standard mostly for less than a month until meta snapshot took it over then it become netdeck fiesta, now i play mostly wild with my own decks and i face large variety of decks at lower ranks and ofc tavern brawl if its decent/good.
Today I played against this deck and it's really awesome.
btw
it's funny to see how all posts are downvoted here (mostly those in favor of standard).
What's the problem with you downvoters here? Do you feel you are the real and only hardcore players, so tough to play whatever you play and the others are noobs?
woah...
so much silent hate in this game.
Wild will be super fun in a year's time when the current rotation of standard is out. Currently, it still feels similar to standard, which I'm getting to the point of getting sick of seeing the same decks at legend. Might be able to bear another season or two of it, and hopefully the next adventure will be out. Can't wait for the next rotation of standard though. Wild and standard will be completely different.
I'm loving Wild mode. Virtually no net decking... lots of variety. Every game has been enjoyable even when I lose. Hope it stays that way.
..sure, variety.. when every deck has Boom
and half the decks are aggro shaman or secret paladin lol it has more odd decks for sure but half my games have been against these 2 decks....That being said Standard is god awful if you want to play control...
90 % Standart
9%Arena
1Time per week Tavern Brawl ^^
I tried wild briefly until I saw my first Piloted Shredder which just depressed me to no end.
Standard is still a blast. There's a huge variety of competitive decks even if all of them aren't quite tournament worthy. The meta doesn't feel stale to me at all. I think the first wave of deck refinement is starting to hit, but I don't think every successful archetype has been discovered yet either.
Arena is still pretty fantastic, and I still play multiple times a week.
Brawl is still brawl. I'm liking this week's to complete daily quests sometimes. Stuff like the stealth minion brawl was a one and done.
I play a mix of everything, but I primarily play arena and wild. I'm having a lot of fun in wild because I can create whatever decks I want and I don't have to worry about tierlists, meta snapshots, tryhards, and netdeckers.
Playing Standard, mostly. Still didn't really check Wild, but it looks like my RenoShaman is still good to go.
Brawls, when not repeated or boring are quite an addictive addition to my gaming hours. I would say I am playing Brawls 30% of the time.
Just standard for me. I played enough wild until standard arrived...
I'm a Constructor. Building decks is 60% of the game to me.
I loathe Arena. Brawl's are hugely hit-or-miss. I don't miss Boom one. single. bit.
If they actually went back and balanced the problematic Naxx/GvG cards, I'd prefer Wild since I like having more options and a larger card pool with which to try things, but as it stands, I pretty much exclusively play standard and the obligatory one brawl per week (unless its the rare brawl I actually like).
lol.. would the people who downvoted this post tell me what's so offensive about it?
I only play standard because I've just started playing and don't have the right kind of cards to survive at all in Wild.
