Deck Spotlight: No C'Thun Vek'Lor Evolve Shaman
Sigma is in the spotlight tonight with his new Shaman deck. This deck is much like some of the Midrange shaman decks we've seen from various pros competing in events, with an exciting twist - you're playing C'Thun minions without the Old Gods himself!
- Buff up the non-existent C'Thun.
- Drop Twin Emperor Vek'lor with minions which have had their costs reduced.
- Evolve! Congrats, you've now got 2 8-mana minions from the Twin Emps.
The deck is quite cheap coming in at 3220 arcane dust. Check out the deck below and head on over to the deck guide to learn more.

Value Town #73 - All About Arena - Meta, Rankings, Cards
Episode 73 of Value Town aired last week. ChanManV had on arena experts Kripparrian, ADWCTA and Ratsmah to discuss the Arena Meta, Class Rankings, Top 5 Meta Changing cards, and more!
Watch part 1 of Episode 73 below, part 2 here, and be sure to hit up ChanManV on YouTube to find previous episodes of Value Town.
Why the everloving FUCK would you play 2x Beckoner of Evil (which is an unspectacular 2/3 for 2) rather than the nauseatingly OP Disciple of C'Thun (which is basically a neutral SI-7 Agent which doesn't require combo)?
I had no idea, but I wonder if it should be considered a bug.
Well, I think even if you don't need C'Thun here, it is still a great card if you play such many minions buffing him, so why leaving him out?
I thought you needed C'thun to get the buffs.
Nope, https://youtu.be/VyhA9pdLjMo?t=4m9s
In this case, "wherever it is" is a different deck.
I addressed that question in the FAQ in the description of the deck! :)
Usual deck on the evolution of spoiled servants C'Thun.
Needs Brann for maximum greed.
I didn't know it tracks C'thun buffs without him there... So this works for all the 10+atk battlecries?
I wouldn't have guessed that Vek'lor works without C'Thun. For me, it doesn't make much sense.
Check out the Disguised Toast video about C'Thun interactions. He explains it there. It's always fascinating to see how Hearthstone's programming works.
It's nonsensical! Blizz should fix that.
i love fun and creative decks... thanks sigma !
You are most welcome.
