Blizzard just announced that BlizzCon will return!
Video Trailer for BlizzCon 2026
Quote from BlizzardBlizzCon is back! The ultimate celebration of our games and the community that unites us is returning to the Anaheim Convention Center Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, in 2026.
One of our favorite traditions, BlizzCon brings us together over our shared passion for Blizzard’s universes, but at its heart, BlizzCon has always been about so much more. It’s about you, the communities you are a part of, and gives us the chance to connect, build friendships, and create unforgettable memories together.
We’ve come a long way since our first event in 2005. Over the past nearly 20 years since its inception, BlizzCon has inspired us to innovate, push the boundaries of creativity, and deliver once-in-a-lifetime moments. It’s important that we put on an event worthy of our community. For 2026, alongside BlizzCon staples like Opening Ceremony, in-depth panels, the Darkmoon Faire, friendly competition, hands-on gameplay, and more, we aim to meaningfully elevate this iconic celebration and create an unforgettable experience for all who take part in it. We are building this event just like we build our games: with a deep commitment to our players, with respect for your connections to our universes, and as a celebration of the strength of the bonds formed through shared adventure.
The road to BlizzCon starts here. We can’t wait to share more with you as our plans take shape. Visit BlizzCon.com and sign up to receive BlizzCon updates: be among the first to know when tickets go on sale, and get access to BlizzCon news, special offers, and updates.

We get Silksong before the next BlizzCon?
Don't. Jinx. It. PLEASE.
:')
Hearthstone 2 is coming guys.
I already kind of wondered that with the tease that we wouldn't believe what happens after the Heroes of Time expansion this year. But honestly I would imagine if we get anything that big it's likely to be more of an overhaul of the client than an actual expansion. Like, Hearthstone 2 would be recoded from the ground up to handle updates with fewer bugs, maybe build in a feature making it easier to develop and add new keywords without so many bugs, and maybe introduce things people want (like tournament mode?).
Why do you need a sequel to a card game. Don't you remember what happened to the last blizzard GaaS that got an unnecessary sequel
Is not the craziest idea. HS is 10 years old, wherever they add a new card something brokes on Wild. They are several technical limitations that dosn't has any sence for digital TCG standards, like on any other game you can target cards on your own hand or search cards on your own deck, and that sounds like the craziest technilogy for us.
They could made a brand new game that overwrites the previous one, with the same content and keeping your progress, but with an uptdated system.
I don't think they would do that. I think they are going to just announce the 3 new sets, the Monk class some controversial Anime style signature cards from Mist from Pandaria set. And a free event Legendary crossover with the Lost Vikings as a commemoration of return from the Blizzcom.
And the new sets are going to be Mist of Pandaria, A Gadnetzand sequel inspired in Hollywood called "Ligth, Cameras, Azeroth", and the Nerub-ar Palace Raid. Trust me. I have no doubts neither I need them.
Gonna be honest, the only thing that I kinda care about the BlizzCon is the HS content, and they kinda already revealed everything that was going to happen to HS this year. I guess they could talk about the Arena redesign (Which I'm going to tell you, is going to be like Duels, but in Arena) and Probably they are going to reveal the Time Travel expansion with the keywords and such.
But the rest is going to be, a dope Diablo trailer, that I'm going to say "Cool. But my PC can't run this" and a dope Warcraft trailer that I'm going to say "Cool. But my wallet can't run this" I'm not really super hyped for anything they could show.
Watch them announcing Heros of the Storm 2.
look again at the year this blizzcon will happen ;)
Well good thing that BlizzCon isn't until September of next year, so there will be a lot of news to reveal about the third expansion of 2026, and potentially some news about the 2027 HS year at that time, rather than rehashing news about 2025... which will be in the past by the time this BlizzCon happens.
WOAH 2026? And they are announcing it now? Almost 2 years early?
I'm going to be dead by 2026. Literally.
