I'm going to assume that if you don't have all 7 when it reforms, they become the new health and attack. e.g. It dies and of the 7 beetles, 3 remain, it reforms to a 3/3. What happens if the beetles were buffed on the board say with +2/+2? Would they then make a 6/6?

I think the main problem with this one is the board space it needs. You play unholy, so you usually play broad already. It's too expensive for a reliable defense but I guess if you already play a heavy mid unholy deck, you might as well add it....
If only if this was the 'Can't Fit' mold, where the excess minions gave stats. Otherwise, garage.
So if it dies and recombines, it can't attack your turn.
Guess makes sense, and it does have taunt, but may or may not be too weak depending on the reduced power level we know we're getting post rotation.
There's no way to know if this is good yet because we dont know how the mechanic works.
If it works like Rattlegore, it won't be very good. But, maybe you can buff Nyth back up to summon additional beetles; maybe you can buff the beetles to summon back a bigger Nyth; or maybe it's like Mimiron's head where as long as you meet the requirements it summons a base copy. We don't know yet.
With two Unholy Runes the feeling is that the card would have to be quite alot stronger than it is to warrant the sacrifice in going for it.
Of course if there is something else that brings you to go for two Unholy runes it might be an ok addition to the build but I doubt it. Also feel that it's not that sticky 1/1 minions late game isn't that hard to clean up come turn 7-8. If this was a 3/4 for 3 mana and spawned small minions it could be quite sticky and more impactful early game but come turn seven I just don't see it being that great of a play.
Because the rune system gives me headaches I have no real point of reference if this is good or not.
But I do care that it is a good dragon to summon randomly by Paladin or Warrior.
Garbage.
Weak to silence
Tbh If I had a silence in any of my decks this wouldn't be something I'd like to use it on, depending on the board state it might be quite easy to clear the 1/1s aswell. Out of all the cards I would want a silence for if I could this for sure isn't one. Someone wasting a silence on this would feel like a win to me in most cases depedning on what else they run of course.
You really need to weigh how valueable things are I would value a silence way higher than this card so someone using silence on it would be a win for me, people rarely think about that when things get removed they just think damn they had removal but they rarely think about what the removal costed for the opponent.
I almost never expect things to stick and if they do its just a bonus.
Post-rotation, there's basically no good SIlence cards left - Deafen is rotating, and 2 of the 5 left over Silence cards in Overzealous Healer and Purifying Power silence the caster's stuff, which leaves just Royal Librarian, Gilneas Brochure, and Bayfin Bodybuilder, all of which are terrible.
I guess it's 2more months with zerg dk in the meta, the most out of place legendary i have seen
The StarCraft set is supposed to be nerfed, but even post nerf, it might still be the most viable thing you can do with DK… the leech thing is interesting, but overall their cards seem pretty underwhelming this set

Okay...Worst case scenario is a Violet Wurm with Taunt. For one less Mana. Which is 8 Corpses on its own.
I mean, sure. Looks cute. I have to imagine that this works as Rattlegore, so if this is a 3/3 and you buff it back to 7, would still summon 3 Beetles.
Is a pretty sticky minion if your opponent dosn't has AoE, but also you are often going to need to trade the bugs to be able to play minions on your turn.
The actual art, not JUST the signature, is incredible. Never been a fan of DK beyond Blood, but both the art and effect of this card is just something that immediately makes me want to play it.
