The first day of the new month, and a new Season! This is the 131st Ranked Season, and we are in the midst of The Heroes of Starcraft Mini Set.
There has been no news yet about the upcoming Hearthstone Competitive Calendar, just a message that information about it will be coming in February. This message said that the March ladder counts for the Competitive Calendar, which means February is not!
Good luck in this Meta and see you on ladder!

Twist Season
There is a new Twist season in February, with another go at the Wonders format from last year. It will go live next week on Tuesday, February 4th.
Quote from BlizzardFebruary Twist Update: Return to Un’Goro
On February 4, the Wonders XL format will end and the Wonderful Un’Goro format will begin. Wonderful Un’Goro is back to a 30-card format using the Wonders format, but with Journey to Un’Goro added. The following sets will make up the format:
- Legacy
- Curse of Naxxramas
- Goblins vs Gnomes
- Blackrock Mountain
- The Grand Tournament
- The League of Explorers
- Whispers of the Old Gods
- One Night in Karazhan
- Mean Streets of Gadgetzan
- Journey to Un’Goro
- The Caverns Below is banned.
- Caverns of Time
The Wonderful Un’Goro format will end with the February season and then Twist will be on hiatus. We will have more information about future Twist seasons in a future update.

A new month also means we all received our ranked rewards from last month. You can let us know in the comments if there was anything particularly cool you got from the reward boxes or packs!
We'll leave you with the Sweetheart Cardback reward for the February 2025 season. You will need 5 ranked ladder wins in February 2025 to get it. "Sweetheart: Put your heart into the game, and victory's the sweetest!"

Hearthstone as an Esport is just fcking lol :-) it once was, until it turned into a clown circus
HS is alive and well, enjoyed by many and making lots of money. It’ll be around for a long long time yet. There will be highs and there will be lows but we’ll all still be playing it.
One broken class (shamman). Nice game , blizz, very funny! So interesting game. Just autopilot game. Cool! Keep it up. Kill your game fully!
top legend plays:
face/dungar druid
weapon rogue
handbuff/discover hunter
terran warrior
zerg dk
dragon priest
zerg warlock
well not much classes are left unplayed, paladin mage dh suck but that's for good
Try again before posting nonsense like this. Someone already corrected you, but there are far more decks than just Shaman. Please be better next time before acting like this
Name checks out
but actually stats do show that Shaman is over tuned and warps the meta..
Until you bring back open cups, you can't really call it inclusive esports. If people have to grind ladder each month (a miserable experience according to top players who do it - see meati and more), and that's the only way to qualify, you're missing out on many skilled players that do not have the same time. Why were open cups great?
1. Usually weekends, allowing people to have a hobby out if work and do well in it.
2. Conquest format, same as the actual tournaments they are hosting. Not the best 1 deck bo1 grinder, but people who managed to master multiple decks.
3. Less play required to qualify, allowing people with less resilience or less free time to qualify
Without cups, I don't feel like HS is an esport anymore.
