Friendship ended with Shivralah, now *The Ceaseles Expanse* is my new best friend. 

Seems like a solid card in a lot of decks. A 0 mana clear is very strong in decks that struggle to stabilize and need a safe turn to set up their win condition.

I think a good way to feel this out is decks that run Playhouse Giant and Reska, the Pit Boss. Playhouse Giant is, optimistically, playable around turn 5 in a deck built to discount it. Reska's usually playable around turn 7 in decks Death Knight decks that naturally have a lot of fodder.

Gaslight Rogue has drawn 20 cards by turn 6 or 7. The opponent's probably played 1 or 2 cards per turn and has drawn about 1 card per turn. Maybe they played about 5-7 minions, maybe they died. On turn 7 the expanse still costs over 50 mana and won't be playable for several more turns. You've already done your big burst of card draw. Unplayable until well after turn 10 at least.

Death knight has a lot more minions die but doesn't draw as many cards. The difference seems like a wash. Expanse is still unplayable until very deep in the game. I think cards like perfect + twin Zilliax, Reno, and Yogg do similar work but come in much earlier. This isn't really cutting it. I think either we build a deck, maybe a sonya rogue specifically to get there, or you shove it in the ETC for 20-25 turn games.

On paper this is kind of an eh minion. It's something that'll only be playable super late game, but even then, it's just a twisting nether. They really should've made it remove all minions from play like reno.

The problem is is that it is super late game, so you'll be holding it for a long time. The big thing to worry about with it is if something is played before it like "Your next card costs X=<10", then it will be coming down early. Doubt people will cheat it out for the stats alone.

Important to note that this is a symmetrical effect. It's not only your cards, like Reska, it's both. If both players have this, yours costing 0 means theirs also costs 0. Just something to consider. 

Also does minion dying count as card destruction? Or cards can only exist in hand and deck, not on board

100 card draws, plays, or destroys is a LOT. So what is the best way to do that? Token is the obvious answer, as cards such as Mining Casualties and Crop Rotation constitute at minimum -5 mana with adequate board space (1 for the activation + 4 for the tokens dying, more if it was drawn or kills enemy minions in the process). You can also try Gaslight Rogue, which can get really spicy with Shadowstep and Breakdance allowing you to Ceaseless Expanse multiple times a game... assuming you can get the cost down, which I'm less optimistic about.

Of course, this is all assuming we want to play the card. Holy Wrath deals 100 damage (remember Order in the Court is still "nerfed"), or Igneous Lavagorger it for 100 Armor, or turn it into a 115/115 with Blackrock 'n' Roll. And Puppetmaster Dorian in combination with this is crazy - you skip all the setup and get a 0 mana board clear, and is it a bad Idea to mention that Pendant of Earth exists? 

I'm not too worried about Pendant of Earth unless they give it the old pre-rotation unnerf and make it armor again. But that would be an unthinkable, apocalyptic oversight that hasn't happened since Hydration Station, which was at least a few months ago.

I can't wait for the multiple Expanse videos with this intro.  Holy Wrath.  Another Pally option is hope it survives and use Blessed Champion to double attack.  Could also use Shaman to hit it with Windfury.  How many ways can Mark get lethal with this monstrosity?!
