Spiders and Portals have had their chance, now you choose! Pick one card for your deck, and you will get 22 copies of it plus 8 random class cards!
This Brawl uses Wild Deckbuilding rules.
The gimmick is that your deck is basically just 1 card, with 8 random class cards. That 1 card needs to be damage and card draw and defense and board clears all at once, or be a strong enough gimmick to kill your opponent before they can do enough with their 1 card deck.

There's one deck that has the potential to beat Pogo-Hopper, Astral Automaton and Chaotic Tendril in one fell swoop: the dreaded Ice Block Mage! You rely on your Hero Power and your 8 random cards to win the game. Super slow, super boring, but deadly in its efficiency!
Or play a broken one, and win in up to 3 games when not a mirror of them shows up.
They should just ban the broken cards for it but they're too lazy I guess.
Chaotic Tendril in Warlock and Bloodrock Co. Shovel is pretty fun. Of course you need to concede against tryhards that use Pogo-Hopper, Astral Automaton, and other broken things, but chances are they just wanna get the pack anyway, right?
I wonder how it would look like if they would move that into a weekly quest like they with heroic brawls. Because wouldn't playing against people that also just want to have fun with the current brawl be better than facing those "pack grinders"? I mean it would be obviously much better from the player perspective, right? But of course why would they care much about that? Well,... fair enough I suppose. Whatever, this is still fun. Could be better, but at least not as bad as other brawls IMO.
Also does anyone know why they put 8 class cards in? Maybe so that the mulligan matters? You would almost never want those cards. But then just make them literally unplayable cards that don't do anything. Or if the reason is to have a little bit of variance then it would be better if for example your hero power would give you a random playable card each turn or so. That would also make some more expensive cards maybe more playable. But as it is that part just feels strange. They also do that for some other brawls. That never made any sense to me. Do they maybe actually want to make the brawl deliberately worse? I don't get it.
If you don't want to play against people getting their free pack, then don't play brawl on the first day it's out. Maybe even the second day as well. By the weekend you should get a lot more people who want to have fun.
You think so? Maybe some people do their quests on the weekend. I wouldn't be so sure about it.
Well, with this one I don't care that much. They play their card and I can just concede to queue up again. Not that big of a deal.
I was talking about it in general. Just think about it. Maybe you also don't play for the fun of it but isn't that... I guess maybe not for some... I mean there are literally people who probably just play to get their pack and are maybe even happy that the opponent just conceded. What is that kind of game mode? Imagine a "Speed Concede" mode... Oh boy, I can't wait to see who's gonna concede faster! That doesn't sound very fun or interesting to me.
For that reason I think having this free* pack is annoying for those people who do actually like to play the game mode to have fun. Of course that would still mean that you sometimes face those "tryhards" because they like winning more than just goofing around. But at least you wouldn't have people that actually don't really want to play it since all they care about is that pack.
I'm just really glad it's also a great brawl in that regard. Turn 1 and I know what's up and can just concede. That's just how someone like me has to do it if they continue it this way. Either that or playing with friends I suppose. But imagine that without good social functions that I really wish the game had. Maybe I should try that more again. (Battletag is Rubinlibelle#2843 btw, for anyone reading this, lol)
Palm Reading if you like play more than 3-4 turns

I queue into three Astral Automaton decks for every other deck. But easily beats it?
Cold Storage might be able to beat it.
I play hunter with leper gnomes, dont dare to judge me
Based.
I've been playing Death Knight with Distressed Kvaldir. It's been working fairly well for me.
