this is fine
Huddle Up I can totally see in a deck, its pretty much a full board for 7 mana with random Nagas, I could totally see myself throwing it into a Hiighlander Druid deck.
Burndown however I see no use of think both Mage and Druid have better draw cards in their library of possibilities, sure to act like a refuel for a more aggressive deck I guess it could work but anything else to restricted basiclly every Druid/Mage deck out there runs either high value cards or combo directed cards neither which you would want a burn effect on.
And when you can basiclly be down to less than 10 cards in your deck by turn 8-9 already draws isnt really something that is hold in the classes back.
Burndown it's decent. I swear I did the exact or a very similar custome card before in Hearthcards. So, knowing how bad Immolate is, I think is almost a draw 3 with no drawback, you have plenty of time to play them.
And Huddle Up seems like The Scourge but costs 2-less, it's runeless, and it's a common card. I think that could see play in Big Mage, you don't have that many big spells. From memory I could say that the Naga pool is not that incredible, specially in standard. But is still a board in a box and a hell lot of stats. So, I could see the card seen play, if Big Mage sees play, obviously.
Is it just me or is burndown terrible? Sure it's 3 mana, draw 3, but mage can often get 0 mana draw 2.
Is there's some interaction I'm missing which makes this playable outside something like an aggro deck?
Druid tourist.
Druid has even better draw than Mage, so it's less useful in Druid.
There's also the fact this card wants to be put into a low curve aggressive deck, which doesn't exist in current Druid.
Ramp druid has draw, also for drawing dragons, but it may not be a dragon druid.
Honestly I think "burn cards" should become its own gameplay. "If this was burned do x" has +x+x for each burned card in your hand, etc
Don't confuse yourselves, Huddle Up is a Druid card
Let's break down Huddle Up...
There are currently 21 Naga in Standard, with an average stat total of 2.4/3.9 per minion. This means the "average" stat outcome is approximately 17/27 of stats for 7 mana, with the best stats on a single body being Carress, Cabaret Star and Mantle Shaper, both being 5/5s.
What's worth mentioning though is that this pool is also very Battlecry-dense, with just one Rush minion (Snakebite, a 1/1) and one Deathrattle minion (Snake Oil Seller). There's also zero Taunt minions at all. As such, this is a big dumb stat bomb for 7 mana, which can be potentially cheated out with the likes of Surfalopod or Portalmancer Skyla.
all this means is we are getting good naga in the next 4 expansions
Mage Naga players cream themselves.
no they arent, this is a bad card right now.
We know the video shows Huddle Up being a rare, but both the Library and the API say Huddle up is a Common, so it is likely that the video is wrong. This has happened before so it would not be a surprise. We have reached out to Blizz to confirm either way.
EDIT: Blizzard confirmed that the Library version is correct. It's a common.
