- Work for Togwaggle - After you play a Minion add a Coin to your hand.
- Work for Madame Lazul - After you play a spell, gain a copy of a random card in your opponent's hand.

This was a terrible brawl if you had no prior experience on it. It appears a lot of players knew exactly what combo was broken and were playing only that; I googled the brawl later and I realized that was easy to find online; but also I don't think googling beforehand is good gameplay.
I.e. if they're going to release broken-OP combos compared to other combos at least make it different every year so that people who already know the old combos don't just rolfstomp without even trying.
Taverns are made for fun, to take it easy...sometimes they are challenging where you need to plan or think or choose best suited cards for it.
So play a game or two to get the idea of the current week tavern. Google is pertty helpfull- what's wrong about it? i find it same as you look for a good deck or cunsult in your favorite HS site. Meanwhile you can advance a quest or take an idea from your opponent.
Experience surely plays a role, as in any game (or evem dailyl life. And you get experience by learning and practicing.
Good luck!
Play Paladin = Collect easy win.
Candlebeard + Togwaggle is pretty dumb
For me an easy win was George the Fallen + Work for Dr. Boom. People either keep removing your 1/1 token and get bombed, or try to avoid them and you get really buff dudes turn 5+ forward.
i suggest Russel the Bard + Work for Hagatha,
Easy Wins for me =)
What was the best there... Ivan with coins i believe?
