The top four players from the China qualifiers and eight players based on points from the Ladder rankings will join the champions and runner-up of the Spring and Summer Masters Tours in a showdown for their share of the prize pool.

But still no open cups, just a tiny step forward after many steps backwards, to accommodate China. I get it that most players don't care about competitive, but why not reward your competitive players by opening qualification via open cups again? Not everyone has time to grind ladder nonstop. I used to love open cups, and they kept me hyped about the game.
Good News! It's nice to see that they investing in E-Sport.
The majority of the players don't care about esports or streamers, even when HS was at its peak. They should use some of that money on the actual game instead of cutting features.
Thats true to an extent but also not true the esport aspect of the game draws in more than it costs I'm 100% sure off that and the game having alot of streamers do maintain the game in the public eye remove all the streamers and events and the game would drop fast.
